The chef''s creativity is n full evidence again! The sauces are amazing. We had mussels on mussels with a fresh baked small loaf of bread. Amazing. Could have used two more loafs to soak up all that beautiful sauce. Next we shared the smokey tuna poke. Wonderful flavors with the infused smoke enough for a single meal but again an amazing sauce to tie it together. Main course of salmon was perfectly combined with another excellent mushroom sauce. The potato puree worked so well with the lightly smoked salmon. Two of us chose the lobster gnocchi. We were sure happy we did. The lobster was atop beautiful cheesy gnocchi that melted in your mouth. Couldn't help but finish the generous portion of gnocchi, the sauce was nicely spiced with a perfect consistency to coat the gnocchi. Sadly, we didn't indulge in deserts, despite their tempting choices. That chocolate pie sure looked good! Can't wait to return to Kounter again soon. Bill was an attentive waiter who anticipated our needs and was there to address them quickly. His cheerful pride in Kounter's meal choices was justified by the quality of the meal. We'll be sure to ask for him next time we enjoy Kounter.

The food was so good. Everything was hot and really fresh. They give you a really healthy portion.

Shrimp and grits were awesome! The burger seemed like it was a premade frozen patty though. Cute place!
