Nice relaxing place to eat with good service Just to say they accept dogs in the restaurant, I have been there twice since it has changed hands and in my opinion it has improved overall. The menu was traditional with Skullen skink and haggis tempting me. The only issue with the food is that the pie (with very tasty meat) was not encapsulated in pastry but a dish of meat with a piece of puff pastry sat on top. It is one of my pet annoyances and I should of asked before I ordered it, There is good veggie and vegan options I will return and enjoy more good hospitality

Fabulous meal hard to get nice salads anywhere so this was perfect . Noticed toilets are spotless ,baby changing and high chair . This was a mega plus as I felt comfortable with my little here and will be back asap. Staff were friendly and attentive . Had to ask for desserts and bill but that was fine we were in a rush .

Very cheerful staff. We were there for brunch & a catch up. Delicious full breakfast for me - which was HUGE & they added home made Italian baked beans, so yummy. My friend had sourdough toast, poached eggs, avocado & bacon. Add in some lovely coffees. Great way to spend a Saturday morning.

First time eating lunch at Sugarboat and it was delicious! Great food, Great service and well worth a visit
