Everyone in our party liked the food we ordered. We were welcomed warmly by the manager. The atmosphere was nice. It was a really slow night. However, that should have worked in our favor. We had a long wait for our food orders to arrive, and while warm, it wasn't hot. So, I conclude that the waitstaff wasn't attentive. It was also fairly cold in the dining room, so that didn't help, and we mentioned the temperature to the manager when he showed us to the table. We'll try it again, but hope the details begin to matter.

Excellent service! The food is always fresh, the bartender makes an excellent French 75. It’s a must dine location in Annapolis.

Osteria 177 is elegant and welcoming, with top-notch food and service. The filet mignon was absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

Perfect seating ~ lots of light & view of the water.Unusual preparation of calamari, not the usual tempura batter, but very tasty, & healthy, with shredded carrots, chopped celery & radish. The shrimp salad on croissant was delicious as usual, and cream of crab 🦀 soup ~ delivered in error and kindly offered to us to keep ~ was one of the best I’ve had ~ creamy, not too spicy. Only ‘complaint’ was the prickly pear margarita was in a very small cocktail glass, not the more generous margarita glass. Christine was friendly & attentive.
