Americano Steak House is a local, veteran-owned restaurant featuring hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, amazing salads, 1/2 pound steak-burgers, decadent desserts and the only full liquor bar in the East Tennessee mountains will over 100 wines by the bottle and glass.We kindly ask that you do not show up early for your reservation, but simply on time. We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. No shows and same day cancellations are the plague of the industry and we ask of you to uphold your end of this commitment as we are thrilled to provide on our end.

Artisanal Restaurant is open seasonally from May-October end. Contemporary American Fine Dining in a rustic yet elegant environment. Innovative and progressive thinking in a farm to table approach, only working with the highest quality ingredients. This warm environment offers the best food and wine with excellent service. Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Private dining room adjacent to the wine cellar available for events. The only available menu is a pre-fix style, with 5-6 choices per course, $105/ guest plus a service fee. We do not offer a kids menu however kids prepared to order off our pre-fix menu are welcome. Our Dress Code is Business Casual. Collared shirts are required, jackets are preferred but not required for men. No shorts, distressed jeans, hoodies, hats, or sandals/flip flops. Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for.     We ate here 3 years ago when in the are and we couldn’t wait to return. This very well may be the best restaurant in the country. Our water, Mike was delightful. No one should skip the pimento scones!! I had the calamari appetizer and my husband had the poached pear salad. Both were excellent. I ordered the short ribs, I’ve never had any better and my husband the rib eye cap, it was exquisite!!! Definitely worth the up charge. Don’t miss this spot.

    We had a reservation for 7:30. We actually got there an hour early and I believe it was the owner that said that he could accommodate us early but then his mother came up and said we had to wait till 7:30 and then he came back and said he had a table for us. I would say that she probably needs to take a lesson from him. Thank you for being accommodating.

    Beautiful winding road to get up to restaurant but so worth it!! The food is outstanding with such wonderful mix a flavors and excellently prepared! We started with a nice bottle of wine and the chefs choice appetizer with duck and elk and 2 different sausages! Delicious!!! Then we had the elk Denver leg and the emu!!fabulous!! And the the decadent bread pudding and chocolate mousse!!! Great service as well!! A must place to eat! We drove 1 1/2 hrs each way and it was so worth it!
