Restaurants near Desert Jewel

We visited for Sonora Restaurant Week, both ordered the prix fixe menu. Overall, an excellent choice, with one exception. The arancini (rice balls) tasted delicious, but one of our group had one that was cold in the middle, and a diner at an adjacent table had hers come out with one actually frozen in the middle! (Apparently resolved satisfactorily, with replacements and an adjustment to their bill.) The Sonoran Carbonara was delicious; seasoned and cooked to perfection! The Monsoon Chocolate Tiramisu Cake was also delicious - and though the slice was huge, it was actually a lovely, light cake. Our waiter David was personable, friendly, and efficient.

The food and service were outstanding. We even had a waiter who previously served us stop by to say hello. Dining at Bob’s is always a wonderful experience.

Background music TOO loud or too much. A member of my party has hearing aids and because the music was too loud he could not participate in the conversation. The cloth u shaped seating arrangement was difficult to move into and out of as we are elderly. The next time I will request a table and chairs. Lilly our waitress very attentive.

Great food--lovely booth. the 3 of us had parmesan burger, truffle burger, grain bowl and beet salad. The BEST part of the experience? Our waitress, Jordan. What a gem!

The Persian Room is a real gem. It’s a beautiful setting, and the staff are warm and friendly. But the food is the highlight! Everything was fresh, hot and deliciously seasoned. We will definitely return to try more things on the menu.
