Beautiful and elegant decor inside and great views of Griffintown through the dining area. Menu had a good selection and the food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and service was immaculate. Would definitely recommend to visit Palma if you're looking for a nice upscale restaurant in Griffintown.

Umamia is one of a kind - a gem of a sushi place. Its wasabi chips, salmon tartare leave a lingering taste. Its deserts like the coconut cloud n the chocolate n lime pies are replete with tropical flavors that complement protein rich sushi n sashimi. Its salmon sashimi is tasty n wholesome and quite the bang for the buck that you can get nowhere in the city. It’s maki rolls- ‘Montreal’ - aptly named an ode to the foodie city n ‘St Henri’- the flambé sushi come with melt in yr mouth flavours. For the two times that we have been here, in the past six months, we feel great about dining here. This is a great place that can take on many sushi establishments in the city- who are doing the regular rolls. Thank you to the staff that are so welcoming n super friendly n host their diners really well.
