    It’s easy to imagine time-travel when you’re in a place that has been serving excellence for more than one hundred years. Trendy new eateries go to lengths to reproduce the nostalgia of the past; Bender’s Tavern is the real thing. The food was prepared and served quickly. My sirloin was excellent, as well as the sides. The server was prompt and attentive. Bender’s was the perfect choice.

    Can’t wait to go back! Cocktails excellent! Had Down the Rabbit Hole and the Old Fashioned. Food also excellent!! Had the garlic bread, short ribs and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Service again excellent!! Chloe was our server and will definitely ask for her in the future. Thanks Astoria for a great night out!

    Everything was fantastic. We are VERY VERY difficult to please when dining out. The patio is beautiful. Live music was perfectly appropriate. The server smashed it. Drinks were perfection. Salads absolutely creative and fresh. Flatbreads tasty.
