Better than ever! Today’s Saluda’s is emphasizing locally sourced, high quality ingredients with an amazing bar, great service and made-in-house desserts. It was perfect for our annual, romantic Christmas dinner as a couple. I wish the noise level was a little lower, but to be fair we were seated in the middle of the room. Our server was excellent and obviously well trained. We spent $109 for top choices from their menu and felt like we got our money’s worth.

This was our second trip to Ruth’s Chris and both times have been better than expected! The food was fabulous and the service phenomenal! We cannot wait to make another trip to Columbia and indulge in a stop here

Five girlfriends out for dinner. Made a reservation and were seated immediately. All of us ordered cocktails, several on their specialty menu and they were all unique and excellent. We all ordered different entrées. It had been a long time since I had been here, so I had to order that “infamous” California Dreaming salad. It was as yummy as I remembered. So many local restaurants have tried to duplicate it, but none have ever gotten it just right. Everyone else raved about their meals. She crab soup was spot on. Shrimp Pasta was perfectly prepared, and the fish tacos (I think) or just shrimp I was told were also delish. All portions were generously sized. Our server was also very attentive and came back several times to check on us. Worth the trip…only regret was waiting so long between visits! Just make certain to make reservations or you could have a long wait.

From reception to leaving, everyone was congenial and helpful. Our server, Paige, deserves special mention; but, truly, all the staff are personable, professional, and proficient. We also appreciate the variety of buffet offerings. You can certainly enjoy all the traditional brunch menu items but there is also a carvery as well as deliciously prepared fresh vegetables. There also often seems to be a "theme" table which varies week to week. This time it was Mexican, which included excellent chicken chimichanga with Spanish rice. And did I mention the outstanding Cole slaw? The view is, of course, unparalleled in Columbia, all of which makes for a delightful Sunday treat. We highly recommend Top of Carolina.
