We just loved eating Brunch at Fresco. It was new to our friends and the variety of food with GF options is what they loved. Our server was great AND food came out ALL together.

Stuffed Olive is the best place in Des Moines to get drinks. You can enjoy delicious beverages while chatting with others around you. Last night, we met a fellow celiac who is a server at Stuffed Olive. With eight of us, we always worry about getting sick, but knowing a celiac server is watching what happens in the kitchen reassured us. She recommended the dishes she would eat herself.

Top notch food, top notch staff. In a world of poor service time and time again, 801 is a Diamond in the rough! Everyone was fantastic! We have gone many times over the years and have never been let down.

What a gem of a restaurant in historic downtown Grinnell. Came here last year when we visited for the INDYCAR races at Iowa Speedway and made sure to get my reservation early for this year as well. Seated immediately upon arrival, we not only had a friendly server but two BBB of the owners stopped by our table to help clear away finished dishes. We had peach caprese appetizer as well as Cajun shrimp. For dinner a nice chicken avocado salad, lemon chicken orzo soup, the Ribeye steak and smoked chicken pasta. All were flavorful, nice portions, and fairly priced. Too full to have dessert but the options sounded marvelous. Very sad there was not enough staff to open the speakeasy downstairs because we had planned on having the chocolate martinis we enjoyed last year. See you in 2025!
