The apps were great but portions are small. Perfect for two people to share, but if you are a bigger group, you may want to double up. The Korean BBQ beef skewers were tender and flavorful. The fish croquettes were great on their own, but they came with a sauce that truly elevated the experience. The pork belly was soft but with just the right amount of crunchy. The whole fried snapper special was excellent with a beautiful presentation. The oxtail was tender and flavorful served on a bed of tamal en casuela. I prefer a firm tamal but the taste was good. The loser was the steak frites. The steak was tough. The express crème brûlée was the brightest star of the night. The coconut cheesecake was a winner with my family. The best cocktail was the Kentucky Mule. Overall, a great meal and a great experience.

The service was impeccable, with the staff being incredibly attentive and warm, making us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. One of the most special moments of our evening was when we arrived at our table, which was thoughtfully decorated with flowers, balloons, and rose petals, creating a magical atmosphere. To top it off, they brought us a dessert with a celebration candle, which was such a lovely, personal touch that made us feel truly celebrated. While the experience was unforgettable, the food unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations. The dishes we ordered arrived cold and lacked the depth of flavor we had hoped for. It was a bit of a letdown considering the overall excellence of everything else. Despite the food being a bit underwhelming, the ambiance, service, and thoughtful details made this an experience we won’t forget. I would highly recommend A Love Story Winery & Bistro for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a romantic evening out.
