Restaurants near Colonial Motel

Service and food was good. We saw it looked a bit upscale and were happy with that but it turned out to not have a dress code. My husband and I were trying to enjoy a nice quiet dinner but two large parties with kids were quickly sat near us. I realize out of the control of the restaurant but maybe don’t seat a two top adult table near one with seating for 10. Just my thoughts. The French onion soup was too salty. Meatballs and sauce were good and the steak as well. The breadsticks could have been better or a nice crusty Italian bread. They just seemed like ones from Olive Garden.

Dinner in 750 room is always amazing experience and the service was top notch

Our first visit to Del-Bar was lovely! Excellent food, service and ambiance. The bone in filet with bone marrow butter was done just right and so delicious. The restaurant was busy but still felt that I️ could have quiet conversation at my own table without having to speak loudly or hear what people at other tables were saying. Loved our table by the window with a variety of pumpkins and gourds on the ledge outside. A great seasonal touch to the perfect quiet dinner. Will definitely return!

We are from Chicago and this was hands down the best meal we have ever eaten. My wife is from California and got the Shellfish medley and she said it was amazing! She also had the Lobster Bisque as an appetizer and loved that. I got the filet and it literally fell apart as I ate it. The best filet I have ever had. I made a comment it was my Birthday and they brought out an ice cream sundae for me as well. We also ordered the Creme Brulee which was also amazing! The staff was extremely responsive and always made sure we didn't need anything. The view of the pond and water fountain was outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect. The pricing was also really reasonable. We went to a different steakhouse last year and it was $100 more and nowhere near as good and the staff was terrible. We give this place a 12 out of 10!!! This will be our go-to in the Dells now for a great dinner! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
