He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Went here for the first time for our anniversary. We sat in the outdoor seating and it was absolutely gorgeous. Planters with taller plants blocked the tables next to us so it felt more private. Service was well paced and the service was wonderful. Food was incredible and we’re hoping to go again sometime soon.

We gave dined several times at Josephine’s and have never been disappointed. The service was prompt and professional and the good prep and plating was as well. One question though…have to wonder why the entre special (wago) was not offered to all tables??? It obviously was not sold out as we heard it offered to tables after we had already ordered. Questioning the server we determined it was not an oversight, but rather a decision by mgmt to only offer it to certain groups….seems odd.

Never been to a Tapas restaurant before but it was fun. Our server Josh was very helpful explaining the process and reasonably attentive given how busy it was. The hummus appetizer was off the charts-never had such a delightful recipe. Ginger noodles & crab was good, not outstanding. Vegatable pizza was good apprciated more by my wife than me. Would definitely go again.

Great place for a leisurely dinner with a relaxed ambience. Staff well trained, excellent food made from scratch, known for high quality French patisserie. Very difficult to choose a dessert. Excellent wine and bar selections. Portion sizes may be considered small, but the result is that you can eat a three-course meal and feel very comfortable at the end. Good place for adults and special occasions.

My partner and I dined at C’est La Vie for our anniversary. There were outside seating options, which we chose since it was a nice day outside. Our server was Michael, who absolutely made our night. He knew the menu so well and was able to share exactly how each dish was prepared and answer all of our questions. He was so kind and thoughtful. The food was wonderful, and quite honestly, the mashed potatoes were the best we’d ever had. We will certainly be back! Thank you for a great experience!!
