I took my mother to Secrets on the Lake for an Early mother's day Petite Plate as a special treat. As we are both coeliac, we preordered our petite plate as gluten free. We were absolutely delighted with our coffee and treats along with the ambiance and service! Such a beautiful oasis and a easily doable as a day trip from North Brisbane. Lovely atmosphere, service was impeccable. Food was delicious best Gnocchi I've had in a very long time. Barramundi was delicious also.

The fish and fries (barramundi) was a little dry, possibly due to be frozen before cooked. Always a great atmosphere. Glad we booked, it was busy for lunch.

There were 10 people in our group, all with different tastes including vegan. Everyone loved their meal and the portions were very generous.

Great atmosphere, family friendly. The only disappointment was some of the food. The fat chips were horrible, hardly eaten. And the chicken parmigiana and salad was below average. Bought this up with the staff but nothing was taken further. Disappointed.
