Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden.     Beautiful setting overlooking the River Thames at Boulters Lock. Service was extremely professional and on arrival this made an excellent impression. Our table for 2 was next to the verandah overlooking the river so the view was superb. The menu was very good and they had a lovely specials menu. My wife had the cod in a curried potato and spinach sauce and I had the steak Diane - both of which were delicious, well presented and decent size portions. I had the aubergine for starters which was also very good. We had a lovely bottle of wine with the meal and the total bill was under £100. We are already planning our next visit. (PS Car parking is not great at the restaurant itself with only a few spaces available so you will need to drop off and then park the car in the nearby Boulders Lock car park which is a 5 min walk away).

    We had a delicious lunch for my 50th birthday. The food was outstanding. Staff were dressed very smartly and very attentive and friendly. They also brought me a rich chocolate dessert with a candle in it for my birthday and one for the lady at the next table who's birthday it was also Overall experience was amazing. Would highly recommend.
