Restaurants near Churchill Park

We dined at Wildfire for a relaxing Saturday lunch. This is one of our favorite restaurants! I have Celiac and the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants are our go-to places. Our server, Mahfuz, was great. The food was delicious. We love the scallop appetizer and I very much enjoyed my Chicken Moreno (breast with sundried tomatoes, artichoke, and arugula). My husband loves loves loves the filet with blue cheese crust. I tried the gluten-free French onion soup for the first time and it was tasty, but the GF bread pretty much dissolves into the broth so I will not be getting that in the future. Flourless chocolate cake is yummy.

We’ve dined the other Perry’s locations and had good experiences.  so we decided to try the Vernon Hills location, which is their newest location. Our waitress was outstanding. The food was good as usual. The pork chop special is outstanding. My wife had the surf and turf. She commented that the steak was not as flavorful as usual Caesar salad very good the beet salad Was ok it was loaded with cabbage leaves which gave it a little bit of a bitter taste seemed it was used as a filler. We usually go to the schaumburg location. Comparing the two restaurants I would say Schaumburg is better as far as the things that we ordered.

Had dinner with girlfriends. One of our friends was running late so they let us push back our reservation 15 minutes. The table they were going to sit us at was very close to the aisle, we asked for a different table, they did accommodate us by moving us into a different section even though that section wasnt open. Our server was great, and the food was delicious. From start to finish a very positive experience!

We eat at Cooper's Hawk Glenview often. Last night was no exception to the EXCELLENT food and service we always receive. We have had Luis D as our server several times and he ALWAYS does an EXCELLENT job welcoming us and helping us with questions about our choices. Yesterday was my husband's birthday and we were greeted warmly at the hostess station with a Happy Birthday to my husband when we checked in at the desk! Also a shout out to the Chef - always great food. Want to give a shout out as well to server Meghan. A few weeks ago we brought our out of town in-laws in for dinner. It was her first night on her own as our server; she did not miss a beat! THANK YOU COOPER'S HAWK GLENVIEW TEAM FOR YOUR EXCEPTIONAL FOOD AND SERVICE! Always appreciated after a hard day at work.

Food was excellent. Not crazy about ordering chicken cacciatore and nothing being served with it. At least a dinner salad or vegetable. Having to pay $8.00 for a side salad, or pay for a vegetable, or potato turns me off.
