- TTrinityNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was absolutely delicious. We had an excellent bottle of wine as well, the wine menu was extensive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Overall it was a lovely meal and we would definitely dine here again.More infoThe Cellar - CorningPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Corning•4.8
- WWilliamNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Sep 28, 2024Park Inn is an extremely well run, "Old world feel" historic landmark restaurant. The service is top notch and was on schedule according to the reservation we made. Menu is ever changing with the seasons since most of the produce is locally sourced, our food was great! Wine, Beer and Spirits lists are lengthy with a wide reach, something for everyone's tastes. My wife and I truly enjoyed our anniversary dinner here after having stopped at a few winerys on our way down the lake. They even added a complimentary dessert since they knew it was our anniversary!More infoThe Park Inn - HammondsportPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Finger Lakes•4.6
- LlukeNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 27, 2024Interesting and flavorful dishes well prepared and timely served. Portions too large, however, felt like we were wasting precious food since we were visiting and couldn’t take the uneaten portion with us, Decor definitely needs an update and an upgrade given the quality of the food, price point and attentive service.More infoTaverna BanfiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Ithaca•4.6
- DDavidNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 27, 2024Three Birds is our local "go to" restaurant, at least 3-4 times a year. Last night's dinner was no exception. The salads are normally huge, so we split the beet and spinach salad. I'm usually not a big beet fan, but I ate my whole portion. My wife ordered the pork tenderloin, a half rack of lamb for me. Both were wonderful. We each had a cocktail (the bartender still makes old-fashioneds the old way - muddles the fruit, and a vodka gimlet for me). I had the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert and gobbled it down. The restaurant wasn't crowded for a Thursday night. Our server (Jana) was terrific - smiling always, hustled to get us a few non-standard requests. The most pleasant surprise came at the end - just over a hundred dollars. The cocktails at Three Birds are still priced at 1990's levels ($6-7) unlike most white tablecloth places which have grown to double. I chose the lamb over the Osso Bucco which was a tough decision. I've had that dish on prior visits and it's wonderful. Overall, if you're headed to Corning for what the marvelous little town has to offer, you can't go wrong with this establishment.More infoThree Birds Restaurant CorningPrice: Moderate• American• Corning•4.7
- EEdwardUpstate New York •1 review4.0Dined on Sep 22, 2024Our dining experience was enjoyable. The waitress offered a steak knife for the Prime beef I ordered, yet cutting the meat was difficult. When a second steak knife was also ineffective, I used my Camillus titanium knife, which cut through the meat with ease. It might be a good time to consider upgrading your steak knives.
