Wonderful dining experience! The roasted bone marrow was amazing. We love the pasta special of the evening and the extra special touches they added to our anniversary celebration. Thank you for the sweet anniversary card that we accidentally left on the table. Sammy, our waitress, was so sweet and her recommendations and service were perfect. A very memorable evening!

First the pros: the food was good! Served hot and large servings! I tried the grilled pimento cheese and butternut squash soup. The sandwich was delicious and grilled with what tasted like real butter. The soup had a spice I could not place that seemed to occlude the taste of the butternut squash. It was still good but confusing to my palate. My husband had the chicken tenders. They were huge! A little spicy and served with fry sauce and hot honey along with one of their wonderful biscuits. If I'm here again I may just have the biscuits...that good! Our server was great, Elaine was upbeat and present without interfering. We live in Texas so of course I'm a Chip and Jo fan and wanted to visit Magnolia Table while in Waco. Per the website, we made reservations through Open Table. We arrived on time...the hostess was less than enthusiastic in her greeting but delivered us to our table...right next to the kitchen door! I would think a reservation would do better than a table in the kitchen traffic pattern. I hate sitting by the kitchen! That was the only disappointment. Time 1:30 on a Wednesday...yes they were moderately busy but there were tables available on the other side of the dining room. I understand server rotation and spacing, and I could have asked to he moved...I'm just not that person....well maybe I am and don't use my voice when I should. I would stop in again if in the area. Based on portion size and the cost of things today, I feel the prices are reasonable.
