This has been our best dinner in Mérida. The restaurant is stunningly beautiful. The service is impressive. From the moment we walked until we left, every interaction was perfection. The host was friendly, yet professional. The server was attentive and friendly without being over bearing. My husband and I wanted for nothing. The food was superb. We started with the minaret. It was so fresh and light. We moved onto the Elegancia Del Mar and Black Surf. The flavors blended together beautifully to create perfect dishes. We finished with the cornbread dessert. Our drinks were just perfect with the meal. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be back again.

Absolutely the best dining experience I have had in my life so far. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The presentation and plating was phenominal. Our waiter recommended a wine from Mexico that was a value and was outstanding. The beet salad was the best I have ever had. This is now my new favorite, I will be back.

Weird they seated us n between 2 tables when the other half of the restaurant was empty. Sat next to a loud talker. Food was ok, lacked some flavor. We ordered the pork belly flatbread which was excellent, house salad needed more dressing, bread needed more salt, fish main was pretty good, cauliflower was flavorful. Restaurant decor is amazing and beautiful. We just ate at Yerba the day before which was markedly more flavorful. Music was awesome 10/10. Overall the setting g is so unique and I would recommend, but not go back as the food was 7/10. Thank you for reading review.

So far, they only allow one check per table. This can be very inconvenient. However, the service was excellent. The food was delicious. They only gave us 1 menu with loose pages, so that was a bit odd.

I love all of Bran's restaurants and Casa Del Pastel is no exception. The food is great, staff is well-trained. I just wish the music weren't so loud. We get together with friends to have conversations and the noise level on the front and DJ side of the terrace is grating. That is also true of the beach.
