We had an unforgettable experience at Tokkotai, seated at the sushi bar where we could watch the chefs craft each dish with incredible precision and artistry. The chef not only explained the ingredients and techniques but also made personalized recommendations throughout the meal, which made the experience even more special. Every dish was a masterpiece - from the freshness of the fish to the careful plating and balance of flavors. The attention to detail was outstanding, and you could tell that every element was carefully considered. The quality of the ingredients was top-tier, and the sushi melted in our mouths. Service was flawless from start to finish: professional, warm, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The restaurant itself is stunning. With its elegant lighting, thoughtful design, and refined yet welcoming atmosphere, Tokkotai offers a setting that’s both stylish and intimate. Though we were in the heart of Porto, it felt like dining in Tokyo or New York - a truly global, cosmopolitan experience. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-end Japanese cuisine and an elevated dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Great service, great vibe, great pork cheeks, great wine and a very easy location to find. The only miss was the desert, it was too sweet and tasted a few days old (being honest).

The food and the fado were both outstanding. We enjoyed Katia singing and her personal interaction with the intimate dining crowd. The service was ideal as it permitted the food and entertainment to be equally enjoyable.
