    I took my Brother and his Family, who live in Canada, to the Mount Dandenong Hotel. They had the fire going, which was good, as it was cold outside, but it also created a wonderful ambience with the big open fire. Their bar offered some excellent IPAs and a wide selection of wines. The food was good, and they were able to accommodate a teenager who is usually hard to please. Both Jen and Mark looked after us, and my Brother and his family felt welcomed.

    We travelled a fair way to visit this “charming” little place and were excited to experience delicious scones “by the Fire” Quite cute inside a bit run down, no fire. Not in use apparently!! When we finally got seated (waited a good 10 minutes) A lovely very busy young lady helped us her name was Olivia very sweet and helpful. No strawberry jam left, but the berry one was quite nice
