We enjoyed a family reunion lunch with a delicious selection of food in all courses. The service was attentive and considerate.

We went for Sunday lunch. Lunch was good but veg selection was poor, 3 long carrots and a small amount of broccoli , if we hadn’t ordered cauliflower cheese and stuffing at extra cost it wouldn’t have been enough. For dessert I ordered sticky toffee pudding which was absolutely delicious 😋 hubby ordered panna cotta Which should be very creamy and decadent was watery and lacked flavour. Staff were amazing

The fish of the day, cod with leeks in lemon butter, was delicious, cooked absolutely perfectly. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the dish did not come with potatoes, so we had to add them as an extra. £5 each for 4 small herbed new potatoes, however nice, was not good value, and was annoying. All the other menu choices appeared to be complete dishes, so why not this one?

Food was delicious and the service was so beautiful giving us options for the children and understanding when our little one was getting restless. Even the shake of the hand and the saying our children were so well behaved and a credit to us meant a lot considering we struggle to relax when out to dinner so Thank you.

Great food. The burger was the best I've had in a long time. Fries were properly cooked which is so rare in many places. Such good service and all was as good as it gets, and good value too.
