    So glad to finally have a wonderful Italian dining experience in Athens! Started off with a wonderful martini nicely shaken and wine selection was very nice. So many wonderful apps to chose from but highly recommend the Caesar salad! My Agnolotti with butternut squash in sage/butter was amazing. My daughter had the chicken which was perfectly done and crispy on the outside. Cant wait to try the other options and the pizza! Dessert was fabulous - went with our server's suggestion of the ricotta doughnuts with caramel and raspberry dipping sauce and it was amazing! Service was excellent and very attentive. Will be back. Restaurant was full on a Tuesday night!

    Wonderful food. I started with the crab fritters and my husband had the oysters Rockefeller. Both were delicious and the portion was large on the fritters. Definitely could be shared My husband’s filet was well seasoned and cooked a little more than he wanted (MR) but he still said it was excellent. My Steak Frites were to die for! Better than some I have had in Paris The cocktails were tasty and the wine list is extensive Our waitress was kind and friendly Overall a great time! It is a bit pricey but this is The Highlands so…

    Excellent dinner at Blue Heron! From appetizers (rainbow sushi roll and assorted wings) to entrees (ahi tuna, flounder and NY strip steak specials) as well as drinks (Moscow mules and Sauvignon Blanc), everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Crystal provided great service with detailed information about the menu and helpful recommendations. We hope to return the next time we visit Clemson!
