We had a great meal in a lovely environment with excellent wine

Good choice of typical pub type options on the menu. We had starters and mains, which were served promptly and by friendly and attentive staff. The food was simply presented and good value for money.

Excellent, we decided to go with nibbles rather than starters which proved to be a decision well made, flavours in all four dishes were excellent. Our mains were outstanding, we chose wild halibut loin and tasting of iberico pork, both fantastic, full of flavour and really good portions, not sure how my partner also managed a portion of triple cooked chips, amazed we actually managed a dessert but rude not to! The dedication put into all the dishes is outstanding and service is always with a smile, this was a returning visit and we’ll definitely be going back

The staff at the hotel and restaurant are superb. Food amazing and would return tomorrow.
