Amici Italian Restaurant, located on the corner of A1A and 312, has been part of the St. Augustine community for over 20 years. In 2020, local Award-winning Chef Freddy Underhill and his wife, Jennifer, purchased Amici with the hopes of carrying on it's legacy. However, 6 days in, they were shut down for dine-in service due to COVID-19. The new owners were motivated and are proud to have remained open to serve St. Augustine and the many visitors travelling through each year. Best known for their traditional Italian-American classics like lasagna, parmigiana and alfredo, locals love the Pancetta Candita (aka Candied Bacon) and the Boozy Tiramisu. I recommend this restaurant for the building /setting alone. It is a beautiful structure with multiple dining areas. All are wonderful. We had the white/cava sangria. It was prepared table side and was refreshing and tasty. We shared the traditional house salad. It is a must have and also prepared table side . Absolutely delicious. The salad is filling so we shared the Cuban sandwich which was perfectly prepared. Our server Nina was the best!

Everything was great; everyone on the staff was friendly, food was fantastic, waiter brought dessert with a candle and "congratulations" written on the plate when he found out we were on our honeymoon. Great experience- and beautifully decorated for Nights of Lights!
