While you will sit down and enjoy one of the most delightful meals you’ve ever had, the only thing that enhances your experience is the wonderful staff. Kind, attentive, professional, and engaging. I’ve had the privilege of living all over the world and there is nothing better than visiting your favorite small town and having a meal in a restaurant like this that makes you feel like you are always welcome. We visited Charlottesville for our anniversary and were so glad we did. We really enjoyed our dinner at Public and my husband said the oysters were fresh and very good. They have a great selection of whiskey and bourbon that we enjoyed as well. The host was kind and accommodating!
