Palette provides a colorful dining experience with an American inspired menu featuring in-house cut steaks and 21-day aged 100% black Angus beef.As we inherited a space as historical as the former Mautz Paint Company warehouse, we had to do it justice. We kept our building’s architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches. We wanted to keep the space faithful to its roots; filled with hues of colors and textures reminiscing of times when the East Washington corridor was a booming industrial area in the city. Our menu features steak cuts made in-house, chef’s masterpieces, artisan salads and soups, along with a unique beer and hand-crafted cocktail selection.

For those of you who are not current or former gauchos who roam the prairies of Brazil, you might need an explanation of our style of service. At the end on a long day of work tending to cattle and stock, Brazilian cowboys (Gauchos) and their families would prepare great feasts. They would skewer various meats, roast them over a fire pit and bring them to the table for carving. There would be a bounty of seasonal vegetables, stews and salads using fresh ingredients from the fruits of their labor.

We have been to Eno Vino several times over the past few years, but this time the food was better than ever before. It's always been very good, but last night the presentation was beautifully creative and everything we ordered was deliciously superb. The crispy lobster was unique and I wanted to order seconds. The only negative about Eno Vino is the "wine pad" which is their version of an electronic wine list. When I first asked for the wine list, the server said he could point us in the right direction with whatever wine we wanted. I said that I would really like to see the wine list and he said that it was on an iPad and he had to charge one but he could really help us if he knew what we were looking for. After waiting for 20 minutes or so, I noticed a wine pad not being used at another table and asked him if we could use that one. He seemed a bit perturbed, handed it to me, and said it might not work very well. I did finally get it to work and chose my wine (a delicious Brunello di Montelcino) but my strong suggestion to management is to either ditch the wine pads or make sure there is one charged, available, and working for each table. I do not want suggestions from servers who may be trying to up-sell or have been instructed to help sell an unpopular bottle.

Definitely good pizza with extensive beer and cocktail selections. We were sitting outside, just regular ambiance… nothing special. Outdoor tables were a bit crooked because the ground wasn’t level. They should have done something about it.

Rare is amazing! The service is the best in town. They answered my questions about the menu before I even asked! Great explanation of the menu and just standout service. Food is delicious! I highly recommend getting the banana foster for dessert. They make it right in front of you so it's show and tastes incredible.
