Restaurants near Bean Lake State Natural Area

Food was excellent with great views of the capital building. We loved the bruschetta and the green apple and prosciutto salad. Our complaint was everything sounded so good it was hard to decided on what to order. I guess we will just have to go back!

We are outside. My entree arrived 20 minutes before my husband’s pizza. 2nd time. I guess that is just how it works. Attentive wait staff. Enjoyable evening. The chicken Caribbean curry bowl was exceptional!

Great service. Nice venue with a view to the water. The food was delicious, especially the Mushroom Risotto. Our waiter was very nice and did a nice job!

This was my first time in Madison and happened upon this restaurant based on its ratings. We were in the area for business and my colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the dinner. The cheese curd appetizer was delicious. The butter board was beyond our expectations. The dinner entrees were all amazing. I had the roasted chicken. The others had the walleye, and the filet. Desert topped us off and the apricot panna cotta was ridiculously yummy. It is definitely one we were talking about the next day and I cannot wait to return again.

Service was perfect. I appreciated the fresh crispy salad. We had prime rib. The meat was done perfectly as ordered and the flavor was outstanding. I also loved that it automatically came with horseradish. The ambiance was lovely and decorated very nice. Fireplaces and a huge fountain. We will definitely return. They offer an array of food to satisfy anyone's likes.
