Very enjoyable lunch with great food and beautiful surroundings!

This is a relaxed unpretentious hidden-gem in North Beach; we thoroughly enjoyed the Greek cuisine in a less than hurried setting feeling transported; always great to be near the ocean; it's welcoming and the terrace is easy-fly; food was very good and we had a great waiting staff; Freddy/Teddy and others; parking a little tricky. Would highly recommend and will return. ****

Our dinner was delicious. As firstimers, we were not sure if we were ordering correctly…also? How do you choose? But great guidance from our server Matthew had us sated with sushi, hot stone cooking, ceviche, drinks and a super tasty salad. The atmosphere was fun, a great mix of people enjoying their dinners, daters, families and shoppers. Our server Matthew was outstanding. He ended up giving us some great recommendations for a quick trip we were taking that ended up being fabulous. We will be back:).

Dining at Gold Standard Amakase in North Miami Beach was nothing short of exceptional. This hidden gem has truly set a new gold standard for omakase experiences, not just in Miami, but globally. The sushi was simply outstanding — easily rivaling, and in some ways surpassing, some of the best I’ve had in Japan. Each preparation was a masterclass in balance and creativity. The chef’s meticulous attention to detail brought out unique flavor profiles in every bite, all while honoring the purity and freshness of the raw fish. What impressed me most was how each piece told a story — layered with subtle touches that elevated the dish without overwhelming it. It was elegant, thoughtful, and unforgettable. Amakase is a must-visit for sushi lovers and anyone seeking a world-class culinary experience. Highly recommended.
