- OTOpenTable DinerNashville •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had the most magical night here. It was our anniversary and we’re staying in bar harbor. We took the 4:30 mailboat (Beal and bunker pier) from north east harbor which was super cute, lots of locals headed out to the island and was $35 each, round trip and you can pay right on the boat, no reservation required in the off season. Beautiful ride through the islands that brought us to the dock right next to the restaurant. We arrived around 5:15 and had brought a bottle of wine and walked along the beach before returning to the dock for our 6:30 reservation. We sat inside with an incredible view of the sunset. The lobster poutine herb fries were one of the best things I’ve ever had. Well come back next year just for that! And the lobster roll and fish of the day were phenomenal. The staff were all super nice and we adored our server, Precious. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to chat with us about the island. After heading outside to watch the sunset we hopped on the mailboat home and the stars were unreal. One of the best views I’ve ever seen. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It truly felt like we stepped into a page in a fairytale and we will remember our night forever!More infoIslesford Dock RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bar Harbor•4.7

Our waitress was wonderful and attentive, and so were the host staff from rhetorical moment we walked in.
