Our main dishes were the usual excellent quality. We noticed a significant change in the Caesar salad, both the bacon sprinkled seemed fake and artificial tasting. Along with the parmesan now being sprinkled versus the shaved variety. Buratta and tomato side was also very underwhelming. To give credit to our server, and the manager for addressing and wanting to correct this. We are disappointed to see one of our favourite goto restaurants for special occasions faltering or cheapening out.

Celebrating an 80th birthday. Great service from Rachel. Everyone loved the food. It was noisier than usual for some reason.

We came for a quick meal on the gunflint trail and everything about this place exceeded our expectations. Before we left, we started planning next years trip knowing that gunflint lodge will be more than a stop - we plan to make the lodge and gunflint lake the focal point of our next family adventure.
