Restaurants near Amparo Museum

We stopped by this restaurant on a whim since we were in the area and were drawn in by the lovely terrace view of the nearby church. The food and service were decent—nothing particularly memorable, but nothing to complain about either. When we arrived, there were no available tables along the ledge with a direct view of the church, which we had specifically asked for. That was totally understandable, as it seemed fairly busy. However, not long after we were seated, two of those prime-view tables opened up. Unfortunately, no one offered to move us, despite our initial request. It’s a small detail, but it would’ve been a thoughtful gesture and would have elevated the experience. Overall, an okay spot with a nice setting, but there’s definitely room for more attentiveness when it comes to guest preferences.

I liked the Mural very much. The food was great, the wine menu was surprinsingly good including wines from many parts of the world. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the choice of hand soap is delicate with great aroma. Maybe you can work at a few details, like straightening the Mural that looks a bit abandoned. Saludos.

Really enjoyed the food and the service. Views are fabulous & staff were very informative & helpful about each dish - interesting, creative and lovely fusions. We found the music just a bit too loud for us but great they had a dj playing - just wish it’d been chill rather than club music (but we are in our 60’s so maybe fair).

We had an excellent experience at La Colecturia! It’s a stunningly beautiful setting and the food was first rate, prices very fare. Service was friendly and efficient, but missed on a few points. Two plates should be provided for shared dishes and the staff should have been a bit more attentive. But overall, a really good time! We dined twice in the restaurant and once at the cafe during our one month stay in Puebla.

It´s the second time that I have been at this wonderful place with my wife, We really like it alway the good it´s food, the service it´s kindly and the portions are so wort it, I recommend if you are foreigner and want to try mexican food
