Keep in mind it’s a student-run kitchen and restaurant. Overall the ambiance is pleasant but a little dated. The service was great. Ordered the pork tenderloin but unfortunately it was overcooked, but overall the dish had great flavor. Desserts and breads were great. The spinach tagliatelle with lamb was very good as well. It’s a bit expensive for hit and miss food quality but, it’s a unique experience and supports the professional development of future chefs and hospitality professionals.

It was so nice to come back to the Culinary Institute Of America with all of the students and professors manning the restaurants in a caring and thoughtful way. Our server was attentive to questions, concerns and needs. The food was interesting and delightful. One small thing about the food is that there could have been a little bit more of a bowl of soup or even a cup of soup than a taste only and the lemongrass was not a pleasant texture for me. My husband commented that the hamburger set up required a knife and fork. Otherwise, the tastes and flavors were very nice!

Our service from Quintin was excellent. Food was delicious. However, the acoustics in the restaurant make it difficult to have a conversation or even hear the service personnel- otherwise it would have been a perfect experience.
