Restaurants near Altes Weingut An Der Vogtei

We had a wonderful three-course lunch here. The service and food were both excellent as was the bottle of sparkling Riesling made by the restaurant. Top meal so far in the Mosel River area.

Was very good but had a miscommunication about a milkshake 3 times. I tried to tell the waitress in German and English we wanted a strawberry milkshake and somehow we kept getting blueberry until we got someone else’s attention. She was very sweet regardless and the food was great as always

Great food and obviously a popular restaurant with locals in Cochem but for us not having a menu in English or wait staff who didn’t speak much English meant not off to a good start. Nevertheless the service was prompt and the food flavoursome and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend.
