Restaurants near Alpine Resort Burkesville

My friend & I decided we deserved a special treat, and The Urban Stillhouse fit the bill. We started with the restaurant's take on the Paloma, the Koko Paloma. A great drink for anytime of year. The Caesar Salad and Shrimp & Grits were next on our lists, and they definitely hit the mark. Both were delicious as usual. Actually, I have not been able to pass up a meal at The Stillhouse without indulging myself with the Shrimp & Grits. Other offerings can be added to my meal, but the Shrimp & Grits is a must. The dish is THAT GOOD. My friend & I decided we wanted to finally try a dessert even though we were both stuffed. Were we ever glad we did. The Banana Pudding was next level delicious. It was like getting to relive an old family favorite from years gone by, but tweaked to restaurant level quality. The crispy tidbits of biscuits layered in between the lightness of the whipped cream & pudding with just a touch of bourbon flavor was divine. We even got to talk to the chef. What more could anyone want in a dining experience!

Fine Dining, excellent food, wonderful service and great environment.

We've been here several times and are never disappointed! It's a hidden (literally) gem in Cookeville. I love to bring our out of town guests to 1854. It's a warm, inviting spot to enjoy some delicious appetizers and well crafted cocktails.

This is the first Christmas that I didn't get to be with my whole family for a home cooked meal, so I thought I'd try going with my boyfriend. Thank you, we enjoyed it.

Our waitresses were attentive and helpful, the food was great and the atmosphere was quaint.
