Our journey in Cappadocia began in 2005, when our mother Monique visited Uçhisar with friends and fell in love with a charming ruin, draped in grapevines. That ruin eventually became the first rooms of Taskonaklar Hotel, and with it, our restaurant—Moniq.Cappadocia is a region rich in both landscape and culture, shaped by centuries of coexistence between Greeks, Armenians, and Turks.
