- KKevinVancouver / British Columbia •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoL’Abri is a quaint, charming spot right on the water, offering beautiful views that perfectly complement the dining experience. The filet was absolutely fabulous — cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The frites were fairly average on their own, but thankfully elevated by a delicious parmesan truffle aioli that added just the right touch of indulgence. We splurged on a lovely bottle of wine, which, while pricey, was well worth it for the quality. Service throughout the evening was excellent — attentive, friendly, and professional. The only small drawback was the background music, which was a bit too loud at times, making conversation tricky. Overall, L’Abri delivers a memorable dining experience, ideal for a special night out by the water.More infoL’abri café, restaurant et barPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Margaree•4.7
- CCourtneyAtlantic Canada •1 review5.0Dined on May 7, 2025Chelsea, the food & beverage manager is the most kind, caring and pleasant person my husband and I encountered on our trip. We came to cape breton for our honeymoon, and since it was early may there was not much open. We booked a reservation for dinner at Whits at cabot Golf course, as my husband loves golf and this was a bucket list thing for him. Chelsea called me the morning of our reso to inform me that there was a mistake and they will actually be closed- the reservations were not blocked off mistakingly. But she knew it was a special occasion- our honeymoon. She genuinely felt terrible. and was willing to do anything it took to still make a memorable experience for us. She offered to have the Chef make something to- go for us as there weren’t other food options nearby open. When we got there she was so very kind and gracious. She offered to give us a private tour walking onto the greens of the course - which made my husbands whole trip. They prepared a delicious meal for us to- go included with starters, mains, deserts and drinks. I can’t say enough about this establishment but specifically Chelsea. They are lucky to have someone who is so passionate about what they do. Thank you!!More infoWhit’s Public HousePrice: Moderate• Pub• Inverness•4.8
