Outstanding! We all ordered the Dine LA menu which was wonderful throughout. We started with roasted beets and labneh. Although this was intended to be eaten with a fork or spoon, we ordered some pita and piled on the yumminess. There was just a hint of sweetness (honey?) which really deepened the flavour. Next was a simple salad that had some peach slices added last night. The peaches were a great addition. Our main was lamp chops with a delicious, if salty, pilaf. Finally, peaches and a cottage-type cheese in a filo crust, sort of a peach baklava. Everything was excellent. Good service, too.

Sitting in main dining room is lively. For a quieter dinner we like the terrace. Recommend the jumbo lump crab cake to start. We shared a large 30 day aged bone in rib eye and brought a few thick slices home. Nicely charred outside, medium rare inside. Meaty taste and not at all chewy. Finished with the warm butter cake served with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream, also amazing, and more than enough to share. Service was very attentive and accommodating to special requests, no matter what. A very special Long Beach institution.
