Franco and Noe Landini are the proud hosts of Landini Brothers restaurant. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Franco's annual visits to his family and friends in Tuscany provide him with ample opportunity to learn about the latest advances in Tuscan cuisine—knowledge he brings home for the dining pleasure of restaurant guests.     Made reservations to dine at one of our favorite Old Town Alexandria eateries to celebrate my wife's birthday while on a short stay-cation. Great choice!! As always the professional service and friendliness of everyone we encountered makes eating here a delight. Saul, our server, took our cocktail orders as soon as we were seated, then returned to explained the evening's special offerings. Our drinks were spot on! Two excellent Bulleit Rye Manhattans - ice cold and delicious. Even stopped by the bar on the way out to complement the bartender. Meals were wonderful and finished with a complementary slice of birthday dessert. We will definitely come again on our next stay-cation from Fairfax.

    Great atmosphere. Great Service. The food was excellent. The A/C vents in the bar area drip water during the hot months, but overall a super experience.

    Every time I come to the area we go to Landinis and the consistency of the food does not disappoint. Delicious agnolotti that melted in my mouth and the Osso Bucco was so incredibly tender.

    It was a wonderful dining experience to celebrate our anniversary. The staff even decorated our table and left us a small anniversary card. The food was phenomenal!

    Food was awesome and atmosphere was good, but there was a little rat running around everyone’s feet. I know the building is old and this is semi acceptable but I can’t help but imagine the rats at night all over the tables and food prep area. We notified the waiter along with other patrons, but they laughed it off and told us to keep our feet up. Minus the rat it was a good experience.

    Food was great but waiter seemed over booked at the start of our service. Drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive . Also there was a mouse in the dining room.
