As usual, everything was perfect!! A wonderful dining experience!
Awesome as always
We've been going to Landini's since it was run by the Landini Brothers. Noe, the current owner, was a boy. He has kept the tradition going of fine dining with fantastic Northern Italian food and excellent wait staff. We are moving out of Northern Virginia after 30 years but will return any time we are in the DC area. We have recommended Landini's to friends and family over the years and will continue to do so.
Great dinner, terrific food and ambience. Very busy so service was slightly erratic, but not a significant issue. Highly recommended for great Italian food.
Landini’s is always fantastic. The food is wonderful and the ambience is friendly and welcoming. We’ve been going there for years and always come away looking forward to our next visit.
Great meal! Great service and interesting and up to date menu for a landmark restaurant like Landini Broa
I always have a great time here. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is very cozy.
Delicious food and great service, as usual. Love this place.
We enjoyed our experience from reception to the completion of our meal. Staff could not be more attentive, friendly and accommodating. Food outstanding.
An hour before we changed 3 people to 5 people and they were very good about it. Met at bat before dinner, that was fun too!!
After a previous disappointing dinner at Landinis, this was full redemption. Our food was perfect and waiter exceptional. Since Landinis is a neighbourhood favorite, we were very pleased.
I have never had a bad meal at Landini’s. It always is a great time with friends or family! We love it
Starters were excellent but pasta and salmon entrées were just ok. Still a favorite and service was attentive.
We went for our anniversary and they did everything to make it a special night! We will definitely be back to celebrate birthdays and future anniversaries. I would recommend this place to all of our family and friends!
Landini made my husband’s birthday very special.
Excellent experience!! Service is outstanding!!
Since our last review of Landini's we have dined there a few more times. Our conclusion remains the same - this is the best Northern Italian restaurant in the region.
Excellent selection of food and wonderful atmoshpere
We had a wonderful birthday celebration and arrived to a decorated table and birthday card. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive and our meal was delicious.
Landini brothers was outstanding in all categories except one - we were seated for our 8pm reservation at 8:30. Half an hour is a bit much for reserved seating. Otherwise the food and service was exceptional.
Noisy, very slow service
We had the most amazing evening! Check in was so relaxed and casual as they said we could have a drink in the bar and for us to let them know when we were ready. Then we had a wonderful Waiter, Edwin! He gave us time to enjoy our wine which was excellent from Barberville in Virginia. His service was so appreciated and excellent!!
very good food. great waiter. excellent ambiance.
Lovely, ambient place with knowledgeable, attentive staff which did not hover. We were seated at a table near the front approach, near a wait station and near the bar. As a party of three at the bar were enjoying themselves, their loud, high-pitched laughter echoed and was a bit annoying. But what can you do? It’s not a crisis.
We enjoyed a very good lunch and a long, catch-up visit. The place was very uncrowded. The staff had no attitude about our staying a few hours! “Landinis” is elegant and polite.
The Valipollicello (sp) wine was fine; “Suprema di Pollo con Mozzarella” in a light sauce was excellent; the pasta with sausage in a light red sauce was also excellent. My clams in white sauce with linguine was tasty-especially those in the shell-but I minded that the chopped clams had breading! The Caesar salads as first course were good not noteworthy.
I would definitely come back. The menu looks terrific. And the staff seem perfect.
It was a delightful experience.
Always consistently yummy! I have yet to have a bad meal here. Wait staff are always on top of it and friendly. One of our main “go tos” in Old Town!
The wife and I hired a sitter for the evening and enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Landini’s. It was a real treat. Top notch service all the way around. I ordered the veal scallopini special (in a brandy-based sauce with mushrooms and sweet peppers) with broccolini and roasted heirloom potatoes. My better half ordered the pasta special, which was an entire lobster, split down the center, over a nice serving of linguine and red sauce. A bottle of 2017 Bella Glos (Telephone & Clark) paired nicely with both dishes. We ended the meal with a decadent cannoli. We are back home and still glowing. If you want a five star Italian dining experience, pay a visit to Franco and Noe Landini’s spot on King Street. They’ve run a very successful restaurant for nearly four decades amongst high quality competition for a reason.
Celebrated a birthday dinner for my sister which I flagged in my reservation. A nice round table for 5 was set at the window overlooking King Street and the table cloth was sprinkled with birthday confetti with a birthday card for my sis. The food was great, many of us chose the special filleted salmon stuffed with spinach, pine nuts and ricotta. Very tasty. The one Pasta dish came only slightly warm, but was remedied immediately and the manager came over after to make sure everything was okay. A complimentary dessert for the Birthday girl and a birthday serenade was a nice close to a lovely dinner. Thank you for your fine service.
For the price, the quality was not there. The Caesar salad should be offered with fresh sliced or shaved Parmesan cheese. Instead the server came tablesude with powdered cheese out of a shaker. The sausage ziti was over cooked and “gummy” texture. We were in the upstairs - the atmosphere isn’t as nice as it is downstairs. The Chilean seabass special was good.
Great touch with the birthday card and desert at the end!
Landini bros never disappoints. The food selection is solid mainstream Italian and always prepared and presented well. The wait staff is attentive, professional, and knowledgeable, which is a tribute to their training and desire to provide an excellent experience for their diners. The wine selection is varied and competitively priced. Overall, a most enjoyable dining experience and value.
The people are very friendly and the place has the feel and look of Old Town.
Our salad that went with the entree had mayo on it . Would like to see balsamic vinegar and olive oil
Was there for brunch on Sunday, February 17th. I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and it was outstanding ... our waiter was just delightful, pleasant, attentive (but not overly so), and informed. Lovely!
First time there and was great
Good food. Knowledgable wait staff. Very romantic setting.
We had an amazing time! The food, service and ambiance were on point. Can’t wait to go back!
We went to Landini Brothers 30 years ago and loved it and were in town for Valentine's weekend and wanted to go to dinner there again. The building is gorgous but the food is just above average and the service was only average. I think I will try another restaurant next tine,
The Lobster Linguini special is probably the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Must try!
Landini Brothers feels simultaneously cozy and formal. The restaurant did not honor my reservation request to be seated in the original dining room, or at least away from the bar, but it was nevertheless a fine meal.
