Great place every time
The best! We come back to Landini’s for every family occasion. The food, service and atmosphere are always perfect.
We had a amazing experience dining while celebrating our anniversary.
The risotto app was a lil more expensive than I anticipated. May have been because of the truffles
It does not get better than this. Everything was a “10”. I an from out of town and wish I had an Italian restaurant in my neighborhood like this. Lets Start with the bread. I have not had bread like this in a long time and i hear they have a bakery that sells it. The best! The CaesarSalad was delicious. Next the Seafood pescatore was excellent. Portions were on the large side. If this restaurant was in my neighborhood i would eat here once a week and be as big as a house! .
As always wonderful venue to eat. We are regulars at Landini’s. Will be back.
Outstanding service and cuisine! One of our favorite places for a healthy, quality meal in Old Town!
Best restaurant in Old Town, Alexandria
Great spot in Old Town! The service was great and the homemade pasta Devine! We had a wonderful evening!
We have been eating at this restaurant for decades and still enjoy the experience. This time the noise level was a bit too much because the room was full (on a Monday night) but mostly because there was a large round table in the center of the room with perhaps 12 people seated. Such a large table is much too noisy for a room of the size of the front room. Many fine restaurants will not seat a table that large in the general dining room and Landini Brothers might wish to consider this option.
Service was slower than usual and required having to "flag down" the server several times.
Our waiter was outstanding. He checked with Chef about meals without garlic. He bought the Campari with the rest of the mixer bottle to add as wished. He offered to split salad without us asking. He brought my liver without bacon and onions, though I should have said no sauce, my fault. Only sorry I don’t know waiters name.
Cocktails were overpriced if you wanted anything over a rail brand.
Food was VERY tasty and reasonably priced for the type of restaurant. Only exception was desert; the tiramisu wasn't overwhelming as much as acceptable.
Atmosphere was cozy, noise level was between quiet and moderate and I could hear the table conversation without straining.
Overall I would return without any reservation.
Fabulous wine selection. And since we are just returning from Tuscany, wonderful authentic food! Landini Bros has been my favorite since the days of Franco, Pierrot, and Nano.
While we only come to Landini Brothers for special occasions, we are always amazed by everything about this restaurant. The service, food and ambiance are absolutely wonderful. You are never rushed but rather are encouraged to take your time to enjoy the experience. I highly recommend Landini Brothers to anyone who is coming to Old Town!
It was a really nice place for a first date
Outstanding food as always!
Food, service and ambiance always fantastic here. Great place to eat in Old Town.
We went there to celebrate our anniversary and they had covered the table in red hearts and had a card wishing us a happy anniversary, which we thought was a nice thing to do. They also brought out tiramisu with a candle in it for dessert. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The food was fantastic.
Waited 20 minutes to be seated for an 8:15 reservation. Appetizers arrived promptly and were the best part of the meal. Another 70 minutes before the main courses were served. Other tables received attentive service and complementary drinks but our waiter appeared once every half hour. Although the restaurant was filled to capacity for the 40th anniversary celebration, our experience was underwhelming.
Our reservation was on the restaurant's 40th anniversary. That evening, the restaurant was offering diners the original 1979 menu, including the prices charged back in that day. While Landini Brothers' cuisine is always very good, on that occasion it was quite the value experience. However, low prices meant the restaurant was very crowded and the nose level much louder than usual; one had to speak loudly to be heard by table-mates. Nevertheless, it was a celebratory experience.
Special dinner to celebrate Landini Brothers 40th Anniversary at 1979 prices and menu. It was a clever idea which brought dinners in on what is normally a slow restaurant evening Monday night. Great food for a great price. Service was exceptional.
Absolutely loved the experience! Appetizers: asparagus and eggplant parmigiana. Dinner veal with mushrooms and asparagus and veal with tomato sauce. Both with broccoli and potatoes. Cherry cheesecake and tiramisu and tea for dessert! Top notch.
We had a wonderful time and loved the throwback menu. We only wish Landini Brothers did this every year, particularly the omelets, which were AMAZING!
This is such a wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is superb. I would highly recommend Landini Brothers to everyone! The interior is very romantic and the original stone walls are so very cool.
Top notch attentive service.
My wife and I celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary at Landini Brothers this past weekend, and it couldn’t have been a more satisfying experience. They pulled out all the stops; with little red hearts sprinkled on the table, a nice personalized congratulatory anniversary card waiting for us, and a complimentary desert to boot. They followed my reservation requests to the T, and the food was impeccable. We had donors there only once before and the food was fabulous then as well, and for the cherry on top....we were pleasantly surprised by the tab for this scrumptious meal. All in all, it was as near to perfect as a night out can go. Thank you to all who made it happen!!
Took advantage of valet parking, guys parking cars exceeded all expectations, Sat on sidewalk, drink orders taken immediately and delivered faster than expected, food order taken and delivered perfectly. This is a top notch establishment and allowed me to impress my date beyond expectations. Will definitely return.
Excellent food and attentive service. Highly recommend.
It was my wife’s birthday and the second time we’ve been to Landini Brothers and we absolutely love it. The taste of the food is always beyond our expectations. Compliments to the chef and amazing staff especially, Luis and Freddy for attending so promptly to our table. We’ll be coming back again.
The food was good and we loved the atmosphere. One small issue with the service. While it was not bad, there was some confusion as several people were waiting on our table and seemed to get their signals crossed. Perhaps we added to the confusion by not understanding that several people would be helping us. It was still a good experience.
As always, the food was divine. The specials are always a treat and I enjoyed the black truffle and mushroom risotto appetizer. Oh my, what a treat.
From the cocktails to dessert, everything was just perfect. One of our favorites when we are in DC!
The food was amazing, everything was absolutely delicious
Very good restaurant
Excellent hospitality and food!
Lovely place! I booked a table for a birthday and had no idea that they’d decorate the table with confetti, add a birthday card, and a free slice of tiramisu with a candle lit! Excellent customer service and I’m very impressed by their staff!
Had an excellent meal with my husband & friends. Were there on a Saturday night so it was somewhat noisy. Both of our meals were so delicious. My husband had one of the chicken dishes & I had the veal Landini style. I'd definitely get mine again. We shared the tiramisu for dessert & had chianti with our meal. Our friends enjoyed their meals too & raved about the key lime pie & cannoli. Louis took care of us & provided wonderful service.
Their food is always very good and the service is awesome! One of my favorite restaurants in Old Town.
Awesome as always. Great food and terrific atmosphere.
The overall experience was very good. Food was tasty and good quality. And while our waiters were kind, it seemed like our section was understaffed and the wait staff were rushing to get to everyone in a timely fashion. As a guest, I felt like I didn't want to take any of their time to ask questions about the menu or the specials because they were in a hurry to get to the next table.
The two women at the host station were pleasant but the man who was there with them when we arrived was not very friendly and seemed annoyed when I said we had one more person joining our reservation. The wait service and food was good, though some items on the menu are a bit pricey. The décor is nice but the restaurant is very loud, though there WAS a table of 10 or so women right in the middle of the restaurant who were doing a lot of LOLing, so that contributed largely to the sound around us. Overall it was an ok visit.
