Landfall Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
My video production crew of 3 plus myself, stopped in here for a late lunch after recording on Martha's Vineyard. The atmosphere is fun, that view quite spectacular, good service and the food was amazing. My business partner and I had the lobster pie, which I could probably eat every day. My other two colleagues were happy with their meals as well. A very good experience.
We love the Landfall for its ambiance and service. A bit pricey though but with lighter meal options and nice salads. Food is good but sometimes a little inconsistent. We love the garlic toast and choco mints on the way out. Nice treats. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't been there.
As always, you cannot beat the location and atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that the side orders - garlic mashed for me and brocoliini for my companion were cold. The enterees were excellent but the cold sides did detract from the experience
Best View on Cape Cod
My wife had her 1st "legal"drink here in 1968 and not much has changed, and that's how we like it. Good seafood like fried clams, scallops, steamed clams, and burgers. Owners are fabulous and try to make everyone happy. Occasionally the "daily special" of striped bass or soft shell crabs is off the charts good. Fresh fruit cocktails are made from scratch, great madras. There is no better view on the Cape, Woods Hole and the ferry coming in and out from the Vineyard. Sweet. PS There are some adirondack chairs on a narrow deck where you can bring your libation and "chill". Don't tell anyone.
We were thrilled to get a table for 6 on short notice on a busy summer Friday. It did mean that we had to sit inside, but we were comfortable.
Service was excellent, friendly and accurate.
Food was just ok: lobster bisque had virtually no chunks of lobster and very little flavor. Clam chowder was good. Steak tips were more like small steaks and definitely no marinate and very little seasoning. Salads were nice, swordfish very tasty.
All in all a great place even on a busy night
