L'Amore Ratings and Reviews
Hard to beat a place with great food, service and ambiance. From the time that you sit down and the owner then comes to sit at your table and chat to the cheerful good byes, it is nothing less than a cozy, friendly and well worth it visit. We won't miss it next time we are visiting in Phoenix area.
I have been to L'Amore many times. For my friend, it was her first time for dinner. Austen was our server and very friendly; not pushy. The food is always excellent; the background music was wonderful - not too loud, just right. The host and hostess are very friendly and welcoming. Good public relationship. We stopped for an after dinner drink at the bar and Octavio was very friendly also. We'll be back!
We had never been to this restaurant before but saw they had outdoor dining so we decided to try it. Unfortunately the outdoor patio had a wedding party on it so we couldn't eat outdoors. We had a reservation at 7 but was not seated until 7:20. The staff did their best to get us a seat but people were lingering longer at their tables. Once seated the service was very good. The food was excellent. It is a bit loud due to the large bar area and a singer, who was quite good. We all enjoyed our meal very much and will likely go back but possibly later in the evening when it seemed to clear out a bit.
This place is outstanding. Been there three times now and was a home run every tine. Great food, service the very best. Owners were present each time and the attention to detail was clear. Not as loud as many popular places, so great if you want to carry on a nice conversation without raising your voice. Patio is even quieter than the main dining room. Highly recommend!
I hosted a diner for 12 recently and will go back again next year. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we exited, the staff and ownership treated us like family. Greg, the owner, called early in the day to confirm our reservations, met us at the door, and thanked us when we left. He was engaged and highly recommend L'Amore to anyone in the Phoenix area.
We enjoyed dinner for our 15th anniversary. The food was delicious! All employees we interacted with we beyond helpful, kind and gave us just the right amount of attention. The guy pouring the water was amazing. When ever we needed our water filled he was there before we even asked. It may sound silly, but I call good service one that makes sure my water is filled without me ever asking. Our server was excellent as well as other resturant staff. Overall, it was a great night out and an absolutely delicious dinner. We WILL go back again! Thank you L'Amore for a fabulous dining experience. ❤
Greg seated us as soon as we came in. Dining room was busy as well as bar with live music. Larry, our server, was attentive and informative. We drove all the way from Chandler and enjoyed everything. The food is authentic and the wine Greg chose was excellent. We will be back.
The evening was fantastic! We were warmly greeted at the door and our table available immediately. We had Lisa as our server and all had wonderful food, wine and dessert. Most in the party had the fish, which I tasted and agreed that this is one place to find good fish, prepared to perfection. The pasta was fresh and if you are a ravioli fan like me, it is a must have dish. (Ask about who gets to hug the Ravioli Maker!) Dessert was incredible with limoncello (sic) cake. The chocolate will cause chocolate lovers put this restaurant in capital letters CHOCOLATE TO BE HAD HERE! There was live entertainment and the bathrooms were clean and presentable. Great evening.
It was very quiet with good amount of noise for the music. Took my girlfriend and her family for a birthday dinner and we were all dressed formal, great for the occasion. This restaurant is above the price range but it makes up for through the food and servers. As a side note, reservation wasnt required as there werent that many people.
We've been eating at L'Amore for years. We have never been disappointed. The food is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The owners, Greg and Kim make you feel at home as soon as you walk in and they are constantly circulating around the customers. Many regular customers, which is always a sign of a very desirable restaurant.
We had a busy day and finished it off with a great dinner. I had the veal picatta and my husband had tortellini. Outstanding as always. We live in Prescott and try to fit L'Amore in when we are in town. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and solicitous wait staff plus great food.
