Fantastic time for a Valentines dinner. You all out did yourself. Thanks!
We come here every year for Valentines Day and for our daughter’s birthday. Food, service and ambiance is always amazing. Love everything about this restaurant. Owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food never disappoints! One of our favorite special occasion restaurants ever!
We went to L'Amore on Valentine's day so it was crazy busy. Might be better on other days. Very loud. Food was ok but not great. Service was spotty. Our bill was wrong two times.
Wonderful meal on Valentine's eve. Great service. Live background music was a nice touch. We sat outside weather so perfect. Service was excellent.
This was our first time to L'Amore but it will not be our last. We went on Valentine's Day so I don't have to tell you how crazy busy they were & yet everything went off without a hitch. We did not feel rushed, the food was delish, the service perfect, the ambiance full of romance & the live music totally enjoyable. This is a neighborhood gem & a fabulous find. We will definitely be going back.
Always great food and service owners on site and really care.
My partner and I visited L'Amore for our Valentine's Day Lunch and were greeted at the door and seated immediate (we did have reservations). The ambiance is quiet, intimate, relaxing. Our drinks were refilled constantly and the food was so delicious. We have visited every restaurant in the valley searching for the perfect Chicken Alfredo and all I can say is WOW! The sauce is creamy and delicious. I always hesitate to order chicken because it is never cooked quite well for my taste but I did add the chicken to my plate and it was grilled and season to perfection! I give my plate a 10! I cannot wait to visit again with the rest of my family. I almost forgot! They have the best bread and butter here! I almost finished the whole basket by my self. Before we were served our food I told my partner that I knew the food would be good because the bread was absolutely delicious. I was right!
He ordered Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken and I ordered Capellini Pomodoro. It was delightful. The iced tea is some of the best I’ve ever had. Our sevice was the best.
Staff was so engaging and friendly and food was very good.
Great place with great food
My wife and I had the sea bass dish outstanding best we have had
Everything was great except that it got very noisy could use a little less music and some soundproofing.
While this restaurant is highly regarded, we were a bit disappointed. We waited an hour for our food to be served and the servers were not particularly attentive. Ultimately the owner apologized and we did enjoy our food...the eggplant parmigiana was outstanding...but we felt it to be over priced. Not sure we’ll return.
The food was amazing!!
Our server Michael was beyond friendly, he really does know how to be an amazing server.
We’ve been frequenting L’Amore for years and it just keeps getting better if that’s even possible. The place is always packed yet the service remains top notch as does the quality of the food. The prices are fair because this restaurant serves large portions. Management is impeccable and the owner Greg is welcoming and attentive to the needs of his customers and staff.
Kudos to all!
Everything was excellent as always. There was a large group this evening that made the room noisier than usual.
We love L’Amore! We go there every week and so enjoy the food, the staff and the ownership. They always make us feel right at home!
Excellent service. Server was very knowledgeable and attentive. My girlfriend loved it. Excellent date night idea. Also it was very romantic going later in the evening when it was less crowded.
Always a great experience at L’Amore. The food was delicious and service was wonderful! It’s become a regular date night spot for us.
Food was good, drink was strong, waiter was attentive but not overly attentive. I can see why this was is rated very high. Owners asked us about our night. They are actually in the restaurant attending to customers.
Everything as usual was excellent from the food to the servive to the wait staff. we will be back for another great meal
We loved our first visit so we went back for a second visit - and were rather disappointed. Caesar salad, meatball, and wine was delightful however, the entrees were over salted and mediocre. We barely touched one the linguine with clams fearing high odds of gastric upset. Enjoyed the ambiance and the owners are very friendly; so we really wanted to love it. Unfortunately we didn't.
Every visit to L"Amore is a very good experience. Menu items are very good, wine list is very good and being greeted by the owners is a plus. We enjoy the lunch menu as well as the dinner menu.
Great as always!
Great casually elegant restaurant with true Italian food and wonderful fish.
Bargain business lunch locale.
Excellent food. We waited a while for our waiter to serve our drinks, but overall, this was a great restaurant.
First time here. Friends recommended this place as they go quite often. The owner of the restaurant came over to our table and introduced herself which I thought was very nice. The place was very busy - to be expected for a good restaurant in this area on a Saturday night. Server was very nice and knowledgeable but the service was a bit slow - but a big order may have beat us to the kitchen. In any case the food was very good and I would totally come back here again!
Had a really great dinner at L’Amore. It’s a family owned place, and it’s clear through their presence throughout our meal that the owners really care about their restaurant (it gave the meal a very personable touch). The food was great (really enjoyed the baked ziti with sausage!), the bread was delicious, and their flourless chocolate cake was tremendous. I personally wish their water glasses were a little bigger (the wait staff had to refill mine a bunch, and felt bad about this, but they probably only held 4 ounces), but otherwise it was a great evening. Highly recommend!
Wonderful service, great wine, fantastic chef! Excellent Italian restaurant!!
Always fresh and wonderful food. The cannelloni are amazing and the seafood is always a winner!
Amazing food and amazing staff. Never been disappointed
This was our first visit despite having lived in the valley for years. How did we miss it? The atmosphere is rather old world with lots of wood, white tablecloths and several pictures of horses on the walls(the owners are horse lovers). Comfortable and not stuffy. It was actually pleasant to be able to have a conversation and hear your dinner partner with quiet music in the background. We started with soup and salad which accompanied the entree. The potato soup was very good, the salad pretty ordinary with just greens, a few grated carrots and one slice of tomato. The sea bass piccata was good, just a tad overcooked. For dessert we chose the almond cheesecake which was yummy. The owners, a husband and wife, stopped by individually to ask about our meal, a nice touch. Service was excellent. We will be back.
One of my favorite restaurants. Everything is great
Another wonderful evening with good friends along with excellent food and service at L'Amore with hosts Kim and Greg. One of our favorite restaurants in the Phoenix area.
The food, service, atmosphere are always consistent. My salmon could have been a little more moist. The noise level is too high.
The food exceeded our expectations
Super local Italian with excellent food and a very welcoming atmosphere .
Very good local Italian restaurant. Prices are not inexpensive but dinner includes salad and bread. During a busy weekend night, the restaurant can become crowded and noisy.
Our first time here, as we were visiting the area. Very friendly staff and owners although our waiter was clueless about the wines. Good fish and ciopino specials. Excellent Caesar salad. Very loud on a Friday night so a little bit of a challenge to hear table mates. Will probably return.
We all appreciate this restaurant for food, ambience, service. The owners make it all work to create an enjoyable dinner.
