I have been to Phoenix many times and L'Amore was the best meal I have had. The food and service was so good we went back the next night. Fair price for a great meal.
This is an outstanding Neighborhood Restaurant in which the owner takes great care of his customers and is always on hand. The majority of the staff has been there for many years. This restaurant is an excellent value for the quality of the food.
Friendly owners, talented serving staff, can do attitude. Fabulous Martini's, cioppino, and the cannelloni short ribs special was over-the-top! Highly recommend.
Very good food nice family friendly staff I had the very best Linguini an clams my husband had halibut piccata he said he loved it so far our best Italian restaurant
Excellent neighborhood choice for solid Italian fare! The owners make a point of welcoming patrons and making them feel like family.
I went for lunch with a group of five ladies, two of whom regularly go for dinner, but I'd never been there before. The restaurant is beautiful, I was warmly greeted by the owner, we had a lovely big round table, which was perfect. They were accommodating in serving dishes my friends loved from the dinner menu that weren't on the lunch menu. The chicken and spinach soup was delicious to start. It was a test-run for me to see if my husband would like it for lunch since we live far north and can't come for dinner. But now I can't wait to take him to lunch there. Our waiter was extremely patient with the special requests of my very particular friends, and the kitchen delivered! Thank you!
L'Amore is a wonderful restaurant, with lovely patio seating, a great bar area in addition to the dining room. The food is always fresh and well prepared. The staff cannot do enough to make your dining experience perfect. They treat you like a welcome guest, and feed you like you are family! This is my go-to restaurant for lunches with friends, and dinner with anyone!
Our second visit to this lovely restaurant. Service and food, as well as wine choices, were all above average. Michael, our waiter, was new but seemed like a real pro and knew all about the dishes we ordered. Special GF pasta and sauce made me happy and the others all enjoyed their salads and entrees...sea bass, meatballs and choupino. YES, we'll return with other friends.
The owners were very concerned with guest enjoyment and service. Very close and personalized service.
Had a very nice dinner. Service was great, food was excellent!
Absolutely outstanding in every way as always.
Very slow service. Food
We had a great dinner. Great service. It was a friendly & pretty little place. White tablecloths which we always love. Owners walked around the entire time & were talking with many people that must be the locals that come often. He visited our table to make sure everything was good. We would recommend it. We were visiting from out of town
The food is always GREAT‼️ Greg and Kim are the most incredible hosts and Larry is always the most cordial server!!
Sal was and awesome waiter and the food was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food and experience.
Always try to eat here when we're in Phoenix! Excellent food and service in a pleasant environment!!!
It was noisy. Food and drinks are very costly. Always ask the price before having it
Food is always fantastic and the owners always stop by the table to check on everything.
I love this restaurant!
This place is awesome. We had a party of 5 and they seated us right away. We each had a different meal and each one was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. We will be returning to try a different dish again in the near future. Owner came by and checked in before and after the meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Our server, I believe his name was Austin, was outstanding. Enjoyed the extra touch of a candle on our tiramisu since we were there to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Will definitely dine there again!
no ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR THE BIRTHDAY NOTE WE WERE CELEBRATING 3 BIRTHDAYS
A bit pricey for a weeknight with friends, but the splurge is worth it for special occasions. An overall wonderful experience with outstanding food, service, ambiance. And apparently a lot of folks agree. Even on a weeknight, most of the tables we taken. Even so, the sound level was very low, probably due to good acoustical planning. I'm looking forward to our next time there.
I love this restaurant, and so does my young lady. We were there to celebrate Janet's birthday, and were very pleased. This is not the first time we have been there...it's always great. The staff is attentive, they make us feel like they are glad we're there -- even the owner takes the time to talk to everyone. Food is excellent, and the prices are more than fair. L'Amore will always be one of our go-to restaurants on special occasions, or just because.
Great food and great service. Just moved to the area and am so happy there is great Italian food nearby
As always the food was excellent and our waiter Austin was right there. The owner stopped by twice to see how things were going. will be back
The meal was as usual fabulous. The service was as usual impeccable. We sat outside on the patio which once the sun went down was a sheer delight and kept the noise level at a very acceptable rate. Never cared much for outside dining but last Saturday night made a believer out of me.
We went here for my birthday, and had a fabulous time! The food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. We will be back.
Were visiting Phoenix for a conference and wanted a nice restaurant for our 50th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful with the menu and wine selection.
This is a great neighborhood dining spot! The portions are very generous and there is a nice selection of wines to complement the food. We had a sauteed calamari appetizer along with a seafood salad over grilled romaine lettuce. Our entree was linguini with clams in a maranara sauce. Lots of food and all well prepared. The only downside was the cannoli I had for dessert. The pastry was a bit dry and the filling was a bit blah. I have had their other desserts (tiramisu, flour-less chocolate cake) and they were very good.
Great Italian food. The staff and owners are very friendly. We always make a point of visiting L’Amore when we are staying in Scottsdale.
Had dinner with 4 friends recently. Service was good but they seemed short handed and a little slow. Food was very good. Red sauce very good. Our reservation was early at 5:30pm. It was initially quiet. By the time we left at 7PM it was so loud that I couldn't speak with the friend across the large round table. Will return but make sure to have an early reservation and only go with 1-3 others.
My wife and i have eaten at many high end restaurants over tge yrs and this start to finish was one of our favorites. Phenomenal flavorful dishes. Hoghlights were my wifes cioppino, my chicken piccatta and tte shrimp scampi appetizer. Awesome. The owners greeted us during dinner and as we left. Highly highly recommended. Service was awesome too. We will be back!!
Wonderful food and friendly staff. Obvious a favorite of the locals with every table full on a Wednesday evening.
Delicious food and friendly staff! My cheese tortellini was amazing paired alongside my wine!
Food as always was very good. This time however the service was slow like we had been forgotten in the corner of the restaurant
We met friends at L’Amore for dinner.... the food was fantastic! The wait staff was very attentive and the food arrived direct from the kitchen nice and hot. I had the Eggplant Parmigiana .... delicious.....Not over breaded or greasy.
There is a nice homey vibe... it seems to me that many of the people were frequent patrons of the restaurant.... the staff greeted them like they were long lost family!!!
Awesome server, great food, wonderful management. We’ll be back again, and again!
Just visiting Phoenix and after reading other reviews about L'Amore, decided to try it. The restaurant was packed and lively...a good indicator we had picked the right place. Beautiful evening to sit outside, even tho I was a bit concerned it might be too chilly. I assume it was the owner (from reading other reviews about how the couple who owned the restaurant were on top of everything) who checked by the table twice to make sure the outdoor heater was keeping me warm. The waiter cheerfully adjusted it twice when I was first too chilly, then too hot. The mussels in the garlic wine sauce were amazing! After a basket of garlic bread to soak up that yummy garlic/wine sauce, we could have quit, but our entrees were too tasty to leave any behind. My husband was totally satisfied with his veal and my Cioppino (one of the specials) was outstanding. We always have to try the Tiramisu ...unfortunately it was disappointing. But, hey, we didn't really need to eat the whole the thing anyway.
My favorite restaurant - always great food! Love the owners attention to patrons.
