Lambertville Station Ratings and Reviews
Did not get the table we reserved. Very loud. Food marginal and very slow. We ordered filets that took over an hour to be served. Not a fan of the restaurant. The bar atmosphere on bottom level is superb and the small bites are great. They need to work on the menu, the noise level and food. Also, the hostess was not very gracious... I am a local and would not go to the restaurant part again.
Love a restaurant with a GF Menu! Food was very good - guys had the french dip and the pork sandwich - both were delicious - French Dip was also available GF with a nice GF bun - service was perfect - atmosphere is casual but historic and cozy and fun - we have been here many times - the downstairs wine bar is also really nice - lots of options for cozy seating or a view of the water.
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner here. Appetizers were great, duck capaccio and wild boar. For me the turkey meal was just okay. It could have been more exciting--say add candied yams. And how can you not have hot cider? Great wait staff. And afterwards we ventured below and there we had the best time trying Pinot Noirs and sitting by the fire.
While the service given by our waitress was excellent, we were disappointed by the turkey dinner. The stuffing was a blob of what seemed mostly to be bread. The turkey was grainy and stringy. I asked for the white meat and there were no slices of white. To be honest, I could not tell whether the meat was white or dark. We have eaten here for Thanksgiving in the past... and we were very pleased which is why we came back. But, this meal was severely less in quality.
We went out to dinner before a show here and had a great meal! Our server was outstanding, food was very good, I got the strip stake and my fiancee got the Steak and wedge salad, both were cooked perfectly. The flatbread appetizer was amazing and she loved the white sangria!
It was a charming place for my birthday, lunch with family. The setting along the river is beautiful and the restaurant is lovely. Our server, Max, was friendly, efficient and attentive. The food was very good, but my Turkey and Brie panini just missed the mark, IMO.It was nicely grilled, but the raspberry mayo was not quite tart enough - I felt the sandwich could have used something a little sharper - maybe some apple or cranberry sauce.
The calimari was cooked to perfection - crispy, tender rings with two nice dipping sauces.
Everyone else enjoyed their selections - Fish Tacos, Angus Burger and French Dip Cheesesteak. My dessert was disappointing, however - Advertised as Angel Food cake with raspberry coulis and fresh fruit. The cake was ok, but the fresh fruit consisted of cantaloupe, honeydew & pineapple - I guess I was expecting raspberries & strawberries. It was an odd combination. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a glass of wine - I didn't specify which Pinot Noir, but I'm going to call and find out which one it was because it was very good - very smooth and silky - no harshness at all. One piece of advice: If the server says the sandwiches come with chips, don't turn up your nose and order french fries instead. (although I'm sure they're good as well) The house made potato chips are excellent - a little thicker, like a kettle chip, and nicely browned! Lunch for 5, including two adult beverages was approx. $175 - pricey for us, but definitely a place for special occasions. We will be back.
Great atmosphere and food. For a Monday night, many restaurants are closed in the New Hope area. Fortunately, Lambertville Station was not. A bit pricey, but good selections (the lamb chops and snapper soup were excellent). Drink prices were fair for a venue as nice as this ($10 for a VO manhattan). Parking is convenient. Ambience on the porch was especially good for a special night out.
I ate here for Sunday brunch and I was happy with my selection. The menu is a decent size and the cocktail/wine menu is also plentiful. I ordered the Crab and Lobster Salad and was very happy, the dressing was awesome! Our waiter was great and we had wonderful service. We sat on the second floor but next time I will be sure to sit on the ground level because it is a little more casual and decorative. Be sure to remember to hand in your parking voucher. It is $20 cash to park but if you hand in your voucher to the restaurant they will reimburse you in full.
We were in Lambertville for the first time for our anniversary. We chose Lambertville Station as our special place for lunch. We were very impressed with how nice it was..we chose to sit in the glass room near the water. We both tried a specialty cocktail and loved them! Lunch was great. My husband had the chicken sandwich with the special jam and I had the seafood crepes. Both were delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable and very kind. We would go back in a heartbeat!!
We went here for brunch and the food was very underwhelming, it all tasted like it came off of a buffet that was sitting for a while. The pastries were stale and unremarkable. The location itself was very nice and so was the service. The drinks were really good, so I would definitely go back for drinks or happy hour but won't ever want to try the food again, as I can't even imagine what their dinner would be like if they could not even pull off fresh scrambled eggs.
Went with my wife this past weekend for a night away without the kids. Food was just ok. Caesar salad pretty flavorless along with undercooked calamari appetizer. Two entrees were both mediocre. Shrimp and scallops were flavorless as well. My wife got the halibut special. Overcooked so much that the outside had a crust similar to what you would see on a chicken on the bone meal. Very dissapointed as both apps and entrees needed salt added which should never be the case in a upscale restaurant.
Met a business colleague for lunch- had a good meal (soup and salad) that was very fresh and very tasty. The French Onion Soup was better than average, with loads of cheese. With a view of main street Lambertville, it was a comfortable yet not too distracting atmosphere in which to discuss business. Recommended!
