Lambertville Station Ratings and Reviews
Great atmosphere and food. For a Monday night, many restaurants are closed in the New Hope area. Fortunately, Lambertville Station was not. A bit pricey, but good selections (the lamb chops and snapper soup were excellent). Drink prices were fair for a venue as nice as this ($10 for a VO manhattan). Parking is convenient. Ambience on the porch was especially good for a special night out.
I ate here for Sunday brunch and I was happy with my selection. The menu is a decent size and the cocktail/wine menu is also plentiful. I ordered the Crab and Lobster Salad and was very happy, the dressing was awesome! Our waiter was great and we had wonderful service. We sat on the second floor but next time I will be sure to sit on the ground level because it is a little more casual and decorative. Be sure to remember to hand in your parking voucher. It is $20 cash to park but if you hand in your voucher to the restaurant they will reimburse you in full.
We were in Lambertville for the first time for our anniversary. We chose Lambertville Station as our special place for lunch. We were very impressed with how nice it was..we chose to sit in the glass room near the water. We both tried a specialty cocktail and loved them! Lunch was great. My husband had the chicken sandwich with the special jam and I had the seafood crepes. Both were delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable and very kind. We would go back in a heartbeat!!
We went here for brunch and the food was very underwhelming, it all tasted like it came off of a buffet that was sitting for a while. The pastries were stale and unremarkable. The location itself was very nice and so was the service. The drinks were really good, so I would definitely go back for drinks or happy hour but won't ever want to try the food again, as I can't even imagine what their dinner would be like if they could not even pull off fresh scrambled eggs.
Went with my wife this past weekend for a night away without the kids. Food was just ok. Caesar salad pretty flavorless along with undercooked calamari appetizer. Two entrees were both mediocre. Shrimp and scallops were flavorless as well. My wife got the halibut special. Overcooked so much that the outside had a crust similar to what you would see on a chicken on the bone meal. Very dissapointed as both apps and entrees needed salt added which should never be the case in a upscale restaurant.
Met a business colleague for lunch- had a good meal (soup and salad) that was very fresh and very tasty. The French Onion Soup was better than average, with loads of cheese. With a view of main street Lambertville, it was a comfortable yet not too distracting atmosphere in which to discuss business. Recommended!
Its location is convenient for us to meet dear friends for lunch. We all come from the same distance away. The food and the service is remarkably consistent. The menu is always interesting, the presentation is contemporary, the quality is notable, the ambiance comfortable. That being said, the restaurant is priced reasonably. We go three or more times a year, and are never disappointed.
Enjoyed a great Saturday lunch at Lambertville Station. My wife had a really good crab cake entree (all crab and no fillers) and I enjoyed a flavorful jambalaya. Portions were large and reasonably priced. Service was attentive and friendly.
Restaurant overlooks scenic canal. Outdoor dining options if weather is good. Would highly recommend.
The Crab and Lobster Bisque followed by the Shrimp and Scallops over Lobster Risotto were fabulous...cooked to perfection! Jonathon, our waiter, was attentive and personable making it all an outstanding dining experience! Now, if you could just find a way to delete the calorie count, it would be heaven!
We had such a great experience. Food was fantastic, but the stand out is the staff. From the moment we checked in at the host stand, we felt welcome. The host staff were incredibly helpful in managing our stroller, and giving us space at the table. Our server, Donna, was phenomenal. She was not only efficient and helpful, but incredibly thoughtful. At one point during my meal, my infant son fell asleep and his head was resting on my shoulder. She asked if I wanted a picture to capture such a sweet moment, and offered to take the photo for me. It was such a kind gesture, and as a 1st time/new mom, it meant so much to me. I spent many years in hospitality and always tried to make my guests feel the way she made our table feel! I especially found it to be a kind gesture because I saw how busy the restaurant was and I know how brunch shifts can be! We look forward to dining again next time we're in Lambertville.
We were a party of 4 and we went to the bar first. We were no impressed with the bartenders demeanor, he did not seem like he wanted to be there. We had a very nice dinner and they was impressed that they had a gluten-free menu. Our service at the table was good.
My wife & I walked over our hotel (the Porches) , & thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
The reservation was honored on time, the reception was cordial, & service by Brian was excellent. He wss highly profesional, even volunteering to divide our dishes so we could share.
We had the Greek salad , the pork with peppercorn sauce & the rack of lamb.
We both had red wines in the 6 ounce size
which seemed unusually generous a pour.
The atmosphere was romantic for the lighting & noise level.
All in all an excellent choice for our anniversary.
This restaurant continues to hold its own. Sunday Brunch is particularly good here, which we enjoyed during our recent visit. Bloody Mary's are very good (Classic plus a few options) and the menu is varied, offering breakfast and lunch options with something for everyone. Simple, yet interesting entrees.
Look forward to returning. A great location too, between NY and Philly. We're from the latter and have met friends from NY there for brunch. A stroll through downtown Lambertville is a must afterward.
Our food and service were excellent . Haven't been at The Lambertville Station for years but will return.
Only complaint I have is with the young hostesses at the restaurant . I asked when we arrived to sit on the patio but was told that our seating was available now and took us upstairs and sat us in the middle of the room with a lot of foot traffic. The hostess was firm that these were our seats. We sat down and I couldn't handle the foot traffic so another more mature hostess came by and actually moved others who didn't like their seating . She then moved us to the platform which had plenty of great seating .
We didn't let our first impression ruin our evening as once we went downstairs everything was perfect.
Lambertville Station was fantastic!
I had never been before and was very pleased.
Our waiter, Peter, was knowledgeable, friendly and quite helpful with the menu choices.
The specialty bread, made with coconut was delicious and surprising.
Highly recommended. Go there!
We had Lamberville Station Inn Brunch Buffet.. Never ever again !!!!!!! Horrible service and food!!!!!
But definitely will come back to Lambertville Station Restaurant for dinner and breakfast.Been there so many times and I will definitely recommend to all my friends and colleges .
A great place in Lambertville, just over the bridge from New Hope PA.
We were there for Sunday Brunch-- note that there are different brunch options depending on if you are sitting in dining room ( great ala carte brunch items) or Riverside Ballroom ( Champagne Brunch Buffet ). Also outdoor seating near the canal. A very nice way to spend a Sunday lunch hour or two!
From a purely subjective standpoint, our rooms for the past two years
have been situated at the elevator on both the second and third floors and
immediately over the awning roof, thus restricting our view, This despite our
making reservations well in advance and a requesting an unobstructed view north. There
were other quibbles that were annoying and too petty to mention. (I couldn't
rid myself of the notion that the better-situated rooms were reserved for
corporate meeting attendees.) I feel as though I'm hurting a dear friend who
has always been a wonderful supplier of fun and good times over the years.
Nevertheless, it had to be expressed. (This statement is not for publication
in any way).
