Have eaten here in the past. Our waiter Christopher was solicitous, and
paid attention to us throughout the meal.
We came for brunch, but the crab cake was small and crusty.
Would still consider returning from Mrstwn, NJ!

I made reservations for my 60th birthday. Started out ok. Several in my group had the lobster bisque which was very good. Server failed to bring a second appetizer we ordered and a second round of drinks. I had crab cakes- very mushy, not lump crab. Daughters steak, ordered medium was very charred on outside and dry on inside. Husband ordered jambalaya which was very good. Other 2 guests dinners were fine.

Worst part though was how management failed To handle a terrible group at neighboring table. Another group of 8 were there for 60th bday too. Very loud. Members of their party were (we hope) inadvertently shining their cell phone flashlights into our faces. We had to hold up a hand to block the light. After 3-4 times we asked waiter to let them know. All hell broke loose! They then very deliberately shined them in our faces and yelled at our table. We asked manager to move them. Manager only took off price of 2 drinks from our bill
We left, manager said they were still in process of moving them- at least 20-30 minutes after we asked them. We said it was not worth moving then as we were leaving. Turns out 2 additional tables complained about the large, loud and rude table too.,
They destroyed my birthday celebration and manager did nothing

Gave Lambertville Station another try after several prior visits that were sub-par. Sat at the bar this time with bartenders who were impolite and grumpy. We also ordered several plates of food and requested them to be staggered and not served at one time, but someone obviously did not get the message. Food is just okay.

My husband and I have been going to Lambertville Station Restaurant for about 36 years.
The atmosphere has always been welcoming. We had a very personable and attentive but not intrusive waiter. The menu has been consistently good with a nice variety. It is in a beautiful location right near the Delaware River.

Met a colleague for lunch...he had the jambalaya (which I have had before) and thought it was very good. I had fish and chips which was okay; fish was a little soggy (athough the taste was quite good). The fries at the station had that light coating on them...would have been much better if they served hand-cut fries.

We have a nice dinner, the food was good , not great. The wine list prices were very very high for the wine being offered. Glass of California Cab was $14 and the bottle was $32, for just a basic $15.99 bottle of wine. Bread could of came out warm.
Other than that, Not sure if I would go back, $185 for 2 people is way too much.

It was my birthday n the server went out of her way to make it special. We like to go for a late lunch because it is quiet at that time and we are never rushed. Food outstanding! It is our favorite restaurant.

We enjoyed an excellent late Sunday lunch, with light fare, and appetizers and delicious house wine. The seafood trio for two was a delight, as was the arugula salad. The burger was outstanding, and I'm not a burger person. However, I spied a nearby guest dining on one, and we just had to split it. Outstanding.

Our server, Brian, was a total professional, from start to finish. We also had a nice quieter table in the back corner of what used to be the outside platform of the train station. Great atmosphere and a large menu with a nice range of daily specials. We enjoyed the jambalaya, steak with gorgonzola sauce and the elk - which was superb. One of the local draft IPAs perfectly complemented our meal. We finished up with the carrot/fresh berries roll with real whipped cream. Yum. Perfect way to celebrate our son's 19th birthday. We hadn't been to this restaurant in more than twenty years, and were not disappointed!

Actually we always liked to go to the Lambertville Station Restaurant. I remember this fabulous wild boar last year. It was one of the best I've ever eaten. I was looking forward to getting wild boar again for almost a year. So it was not surprising that I wanted to take the opportunity to eat this fabulous wild boar again.

We had one of our anniversaries. We started with champagne, a very good onion soup before the disaster took its course. It may be that the cook was ill or indisposed.

The wild boar was inedible - it was sent back to the kitchen. The steak was inedible. My wife ate it bravely anyway, although it was chewy.

Half a duck was then served as a substitute for the wild boar. This was also completely overcooked.

We left quickly and will not come back until the restaurant employs a cook who at least knows how to prepare meat. One day later we had a steak for lunch in a diner. It was light years better and only cost a third.

Lambertville Station is not recommended in this condition.
