My wife and I had our annual anniversary dinner at Lambertville Tavern.
As usual, it was a great experience. Service was fantastic and the food even better. We're hooked!

We enjoyed an excellent late Sunday lunch, with light fare, and appetizers and delicious house wine. The seafood trio for two was a delight, as was the arugula salad. The burger was outstanding, and I'm not a burger person. However, I spied a nearby guest dining on one, and we just had to split it. Outstanding.

Our server Paula was outstanding. Her recommendation for the wild boar chops was amazing. We enjoyed the meal entirely.

Our server, Brian, was a total professional, from start to finish. We also had a nice quieter table in the back corner of what used to be the outside platform of the train station. Great atmosphere and a large menu with a nice range of daily specials. We enjoyed the jambalaya, steak with gorgonzola sauce and the elk - which was superb. One of the local draft IPAs perfectly complemented our meal. We finished up with the carrot/fresh berries roll with real whipped cream. Yum. Perfect way to celebrate our son's 19th birthday. We hadn't been to this restaurant in more than twenty years, and were not disappointed!

Actually we always liked to go to the Lambertville Station Restaurant. I remember this fabulous wild boar last year. It was one of the best I've ever eaten. I was looking forward to getting wild boar again for almost a year. So it was not surprising that I wanted to take the opportunity to eat this fabulous wild boar again.

We had one of our anniversaries. We started with champagne, a very good onion soup before the disaster took its course. It may be that the cook was ill or indisposed.

The wild boar was inedible - it was sent back to the kitchen. The steak was inedible. My wife ate it bravely anyway, although it was chewy.

Half a duck was then served as a substitute for the wild boar. This was also completely overcooked.

We left quickly and will not come back until the restaurant employs a cook who at least knows how to prepare meat. One day later we had a steak for lunch in a diner. It was light years better and only cost a third.

Lambertville Station is not recommended in this condition.

The food is very good. We have never had poor service. The selection of food is pretty good and it's interesting to see the wild game on the menu for those who want to try something different.

Food was delicious. Sauces excellent. Preparation, presentation, top notch.
Very nice ambiance. Waiter was polite and attentive.
Drinks were simple and unassuming.
Just a little bit pricier than it should be.

We'll be back.

Excellent evening! The menu had at least 5 different #1 choices that my husband and I wanted to try! Our choices of Filet Mignon and Duck were exceptional with each dish done to perfection! We have to go back to try our other #1 choices now!

My 3 friends and I were celebrating a birthday. Our seats were great and the lunch was delicious. After mentioning my friend's birthday to our waiter, I thought that perhaps he'd bring a little piece of chocolate or something for her in honor of her birthday. He did not. Perhaps Lambertville Station doesn't do that.
Otherwise, a very nice experience!

We had a delicious lunch yesterday at Lambertville Station restaurant, including Jambalaya and chicken/melted brie sandwich with homemade potato chips. Service was great and setting is lovely. We would heartily recommend this to others.

I enjoyed my dining experience at Lambertville Station very, very much. My husband and I were ushered in to an attractive table with a view of the canal. The waiter was attentive and very pleasant. He was there when we needed him and was unobtrusive in between.

The food was excellent, the drinks terrific and I would not hesitate to recommend Lambertville Station to anyone. I look forward to going again.

Alan, who took care of us while we had an app and drinks by the fire before our dinner, was superb. Friendly and VERY knowledgeable. Jennifer, our server, was amazing. Great wine recommendation and chatted with us throughout the meal. I had the scallops and shrimp with risotto, which was perfect. I can't wait to come back!

I have to admit, it was louder than usual! Peter was a most excellent waiter and I would love to have him as our waiter again. He is in no short measure a contributor to the quality and above-average experience that the Lambertville Station is known for. Treasure him!!

We visited the Lambertville Station to enjoy the wild game menu that Chef Beall presents every year. The Elk was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Great service - the staff is always friendly. Another great meal at the Station!
