About Lakeside - Wynn Las Vegas
Star chef David Walzog, whose innovative chophouse fare continues to make SW Steakhouse one of the hottest addresses in town, turns from turf to surf at Lakeside. From this glamorous perch at the water's edge, he crafts modern cuisine that showcases his deft touch with seafood cooking. Iced Florida stone crab claws and lavish shellfish platters; ocean-fresh fish and a large variety of wood-oven roasted lobsters from various ports of call anchor his menu, while prime aged steaks and chops round out the bill of fare. Lakeside's new 'Ocean-to-Table' seafood program showcases a specially curated menu of the most unique species of wild caught fish found in the Hawaiian Islands.

Lakeside - Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
After reading many reviews about lakeside we were excited to eat there. When we arrived we were seated quickly by a friendly young lady. Waiter and attendants came by and took our order. Food arrived, since it's Thanksgiving we opted for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The only item on the plate that was warm was the stuffing. Turkey, gravy and yam puree was cold. Once our order was taken we didn't see the waiter until it was time for the bill. He never asked how the meal was or why we didn't eat much off the plate. So needless to say we weren't impressed and won't waste our money there again.
We chose the Lakeside for my birthday dinner. It was a perfect choice. Great service and a memorable place for a special occasion. Fabulous food and cocktails. I will definitely return. There was no issue that we were Vegan and we were catered for so well. A+
It was overall a fantastic restaurant...a bit pricey though. It was our anniversary so we splurged. I had two glasses or Rose wine and my husband had tea. I had a side of lobster and husband had lobster risottto. With tax and tip the cost was right about $200. But it was worth it and I would go again for a special occasion. We dined out on the patio and the water show was a pleasant and fun surprise.
Fantastic fresh seafood restaurant. From Oysters, red snapper to Lobster All fantastic. The sides were equally delicious especially the spinach. Ask for a table outside and you get entertained with a water show. Service was great and attentive with reasonable price for upscale dining. Well worth going.
I dine exclusively at the Wynn for many reasons. The Scottish salmon (sold at multiple restaurants) is par excellence. The quality, texture, and brininess are unique to the Wynn. This was one of my best dining experiences and worth every shekel. The Lakseside show attraction was equivalent to the seasonings used by the chef. Seating, ambiance and service were stellar. I would have liked my waitor to check in during the meal as I had to rely on ancillary staff several times. A near flawless and most memorable dining affair!
We have been to the restaurant before but sat inside, this time we asked to sit outside by the lake and it was worth it :) Food was incredible, service was very friendly and informative as far as the menu and ingredients but the over all romantic and beautiful outdoor lake/ waterfalls show was unforgettable ❤️
Fyi kids under 5 are not allowed!!!We learned the hard way we were already there eating appetizers, and my friend showed up with her baby and they asked us to leave. The general manager was very rude but the director came out,and I can't think of her name right now but she was super nice she covered the food and drinks we had already ordered which came up to $275 she even called to get us another reservation at another restaurant and she walked us over, and she came back twice to check on us. I'm sure had we stayed and actually had dinner our bill would have been over $1,000 and it was 5 of us. We still ended up paying $500 at the Italian restaurant we went to. Overall the food we had was okay it was good actually but not worth the price it's a very overpriced restaurant but the little show that they give you on the lake is super cute.
This was our first time dining here. I am employed by Wynn and totally understand the Wynn experience now. No other property treats its guests and caters to there every need as does Wynn. The food was superb and prepared just right. The service was like being at home, where every desire was taken care of.
We will be returning
Thank You Mr. and Mrs. Wynn
We were unfortunately not very happy with the food. We both got the Dover sole which was very pricey and we were told the best on the menu.... unfortunately it was dry and not very good. The ambiance was excellent and so was the staff, appetizers and wine. Just the Dover sole was a big disappointment
My best friend and I were in town for only 24 hours to see a concert. I was referred to Lakeside as an exceptional place for the freshest seafood and great service, and it was all that and more! Expert presentation and preparation, an A+ experience, and I would absolutely come here again. The dining room is gorgeous, and our wonderful table right on the lake was exactly what we wanted. Thank you!
Excellent. 4.5 Stars. Yes we would go back. LONGER VERSION: We are locals, and this was our 2nd time to Lakeside, and this time we requested an outside table. SERVICE: The only drawback to the evening was despite our VIP status through OpenTable and a reservation made over a week in advance (with a request for outside), we were informed upon prompt check in that we would need to wait 20 to 30 minutes for an outside table. We did not want to wait so we were seated inside in a nice booth with the waterfall in the background. David - our server - was excellent. The right amount of advice and attention to make for a nice evening. COCKTAILS: We stuck with wines by the glass which were very good - a nice selection you would expect from a high end romantic place. FOOD: We split the lobster bisque - excellent. Just enough if you do split the soup dish. My companion had the Maine Lobster, I the Ono (Wahoo). Both perfectly cooked and we would order them again. The lobster had several options to prepare. The side of fries was addicting. OVERALL: A nice experience, and dinner for two with tip is approaching $300 so be prepared. But hey you are not at a Red Lobster. The waterfall with the water "show" every 20 minutes or so was a nice touch. Yes, we would go back.
Absolutely outstanding. My wife took me here for my birthday. The food and the service were flawless. Next time we are in Vegas, we will definitely return. We mentioned to our waiter that we had missed a show the previous night and he went to the extra effort of getting details on how we could still attend the La Reve at the Wynn. Pineapple upside down cake was a huge win for me....we even saved a bit for breakfast with coffee the next day!
