About Lakeside - Wynn Las Vegas
Star chef David Walzog, whose innovative chophouse fare continues to make SW Steakhouse one of the hottest addresses in town, turns from turf to surf at Lakeside. From this glamorous perch at the water's edge, he crafts modern cuisine that showcases his deft touch with seafood cooking. Iced Florida stone crab claws and lavish shellfish platters; ocean-fresh fish and a large variety of wood-oven roasted lobsters from various ports of call anchor his menu, while prime aged steaks and chops round out the bill of fare. Lakeside's new 'Ocean-to-Table' seafood program showcases a specially curated menu of the most unique species of wild caught fish found in the Hawaiian Islands.

Lakeside - Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
If you dine here, I highly recommend you sit outside by the lake so you enjoy the entertainment. The food was terrific, I had the lobster risotto and my husband had a filet. Both were very well prepared. There is a large rock wall, looks like a movie screen in a way, with a cascading waterfall, in addition to lights in the water in the lake. Every 30 minutes, the rock wall and lake transform into a brief show with music and lights. These shows were an unexpected addition to a beautiful lakeside setting and made this meal quite memorable.
Food was very good service fully met expectations. We were disappointed at not being able to sit outside on the patio as it was unexpectedly closed. The other disappointment is that we were seated on the restaurant second level where we were unable to get full visibility of the Lake show. As two of our guests had never seen this before, this was an impediment to fully enjoying the restaurant.
Fantastic service and all requests were fulfilled. Food was excellent but be sure to check out the menu pricing if you are paying on your own. It was significantly LESS expensive than the restaurant 100 feet away inside the Wynn. Wonderful light + character show over the water. Clear view from our table. It was too cold to eat outside so that area was closed but we were right near the window as requested. My client and his wife were VERY happy, so it was worth the cost.
Beautiful location at the lake at the Wynn. Select to eat outside to take in the whole atmosphere of the place. Excellent service, great wine selection and outstanding food. If you are having dessert and believe me you should, try the pineapple upside down cake, it is one of a kind. It is good for four people. The chef is very creative (whipped mashed potatoes with lobster). The snapper and filet were top notch. The picture shows the waterfall and frog 🐸 singing.
Have dined here many times. I noticed a slowness to the service during my last visit about 4 months ago. During this visit there were unacceptable wait times in between servings and no apology from the manager or the captain. It took approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive one appetizer of 4 oysters and two Caesar salads. I will no longer recommend Lakeside.
I was so disappointed in this restaurant. Reservation was for 8pm. Had to wait 15 min so they could clear off tables. Was seated at the last table by the kitchen and bathroom. Passed many nice tables to be seated in the worst. Not very happy. Then our server was horrible and never came back to the table to even refill water. My fish was as dry as can be . Complained about it and all I received was a sorry to hear that. This is a very nice expensive restaurant. You would expect nothing but stellar food and service. Will never return or recommend this one.
After reading many reviews about lakeside we were excited to eat there. When we arrived we were seated quickly by a friendly young lady. Waiter and attendants came by and took our order. Food arrived, since it's Thanksgiving we opted for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The only item on the plate that was warm was the stuffing. Turkey, gravy and yam puree was cold. Once our order was taken we didn't see the waiter until it was time for the bill. He never asked how the meal was or why we didn't eat much off the plate. So needless to say we weren't impressed and won't waste our money there again.
We booked this last minute for dinner prior to Le Reve. The location is great for cutting it short to get to the early show, but next time I'd allow more than 1.5 hours. The Lakeside show is fun, the outdoor setting is refreshing (November - not sure about hot months!), and the staff were very professional, attentive and thoughtful. I'd do it again but think more about timing (we had to rush and that was our own doing).
Pretty lakeside table, food excellent, service not so good meaning the staff has not been trained to the status of Wynn Properties. It felt more like a fast food location service with cranky clean-up crew. Of course we would go back - the food is too fabulous not to and location is marvellous.
We chose the Lakeside for my birthday dinner. It was a perfect choice. Great service and a memorable place for a special occasion. Fabulous food and cocktails. I will definitely return. There was no issue that we were Vegan and we were catered for so well. A+
It was overall a fantastic restaurant...a bit pricey though. It was our anniversary so we splurged. I had two glasses or Rose wine and my husband had tea. I had a side of lobster and husband had lobster risottto. With tax and tip the cost was right about $200. But it was worth it and I would go again for a special occasion. We dined out on the patio and the water show was a pleasant and fun surprise.
Fantastic fresh seafood restaurant. From Oysters, red snapper to Lobster All fantastic. The sides were equally delicious especially the spinach. Ask for a table outside and you get entertained with a water show. Service was great and attentive with reasonable price for upscale dining. Well worth going.
I dine exclusively at the Wynn for many reasons. The Scottish salmon (sold at multiple restaurants) is par excellence. The quality, texture, and brininess are unique to the Wynn. This was one of my best dining experiences and worth every shekel. The Lakseside show attraction was equivalent to the seasonings used by the chef. Seating, ambiance and service were stellar. I would have liked my waitor to check in during the meal as I had to rely on ancillary staff several times. A near flawless and most memorable dining affair!
We have been to the restaurant before but sat inside, this time we asked to sit outside by the lake and it was worth it :) Food was incredible, service was very friendly and informative as far as the menu and ingredients but the over all romantic and beautiful outdoor lake/ waterfalls show was unforgettable ❤️
